iPad Dungeon Defenders: Second Wave - (by Trendy Ent) (v6.7)

Unable to join any games on GameSpy, I can browse and click "Join Game" but it always says "Failed to Join". My latency is very tiny as I use FiOS and the wireless router network at my house uses 802.11g so I do not think it is my connection.

Also the game I try to join has a green light under ping, so I do not know what is going on.

 

I also cannot join Gamespy games, but I can't join any.

 

iPad crash

iPad, latest iOS version.
DD version 2.0, first version I've installed.
Nothing else running (multitask).
First time I ran DD it crashed.
Second time it asked if I wanted to disable movies. I said yes. It asked if I wanted to do something with Gamespy, I said No. It crashed.
Third time, I said yes to the Gamespy question. It crashed.

Complete shut down and reboot of iPad, launched DD, it worked. Seems to run ok.

If that helps anyone, it was worth typing it.

 

I think it only works when you zoom all the way in. The camera has been improved substantially; it now remains mostly fixed and not constantly rotating around on it's own. They really need to make the camera angle fixed permanently or allow it as an option. And yes to swipe camera controls, especially in 3rd person view.

How do u do 15000 dps when mine is has a lighting damage of 1824 worth 586k and i only do like 5238 dps lol

 

Yeah good question, mine is around 1824 as well and it only deals 5000-6000 dps.

 

Forgot I activated Rage. Turn it on and swing my highest is 13732. I rounded up that's how!

 

I've been playing this game for a while now, but I have a suggestion. I get the whole level requirement thing so that a low level cant have an amazing weapon but I think that these requirements should be lowered. I think that it is dumb when you pick up a piece of equipment that requires you to be 20 levels higher than you are. Maybe you should just lower the requirements so that godly stuff takes level 50 or 60 and lower all the other equipment 10 levels or so. It would make the game a lot more fun for me and probably a lot of other people too. Thanks.

I took a big break from DD:FW due to GC bugs and other things such as crashes but I'm back for all those who remember me and I'm leveling up s new character so for those who want to play again sometime jut say so on the forum cause I want to start playing again after this GREAT update! Graphical improvements are amazing, camera is amazing, but how do you get familiars?

 

Lol I was wanting to ask the same thing about familiars. I quit waiting for the update as well.

 

Oh lol Kyle. Me,u,mudkip,and leaf need to play again. Those were te good times. We were the early adopters. But yeah the graphics scaled up are incredible! And on a iPhone 4 it's not too bad. But yeah I'm pissed that I can't transfer my iPad character to my iPhone. So I'm making a new squire. But anyways I believe you obtain a familiar by beating the new campaign mission. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But yeah we should bring the group back and beat that mission.

 

I agree that godly equipment needs to have a lower level cap. 60 would do it for me. If you need a level 70 level cap, cap the upgrading... That way if you are level 60 you can upgrade to level 10 and if you are 70 you can upgrade your equipment to level 15... and so on.

 

+1 to this. I was playing a new character on the first level on easy and I was picking up weapons I couldn't even use. Where the heck do they expect me to find gear then? The requirements really need to be lowered across the board.

 

i totally agree about weapon levels, i was level 3 and picked up a level 16 staff....how is that right? man alive it needs to be lowered, especially high level items but low stuff is out of whack as well.

 

Actually, I really like this system (in as far as I like *any* level-based system). Finding weapons of higher levels gives me something to shoot for, and look forward to, and becomes another incentive to level my character.

It also adds a sense of random that slightly lessens the restrictive sense of balance most level-based games suffer from.

 

im restarting as well. I feel like completely deleting all my characters for some reason, it feels neither here nor there. I can't solo anymore either.. ugh

 

Sure enough, the game crashes after the intro on my jailbroken 4.1 iPhone 4. I hope they get the update out soon, but I knew the problem going into it, so no big deal. I'll just wait.
