No answer? Do I join people that only I know (friends) or is there an option to view the list of games (even strangers) that I can join? (think pocket legends). Would like to know this before I actually purchase since u live a sad life and have no friends XD
U can view a list of games going on. They dnt need to be friends, but this patch broke multiplayer joining on IOS, so u gotta host abgame or have friends invite u or u them until patch fixes this HUGE problem....
That's ridiculous. You're not affected by the game crash, i suppose. If there's a serious bug with a software, like one preventing people from actually using it, the dev should release a quick/rushed bug fix. If I payed for a software and I can't use it until the dev makes a big pack of bug fixes and new features, I would not be so easy with the dev, like "take your time, don't worry, it's ok ". That said, I'm not angry at Trendy (I'm not too happy either), they have a lot of work in their hands, and I take my hat off to PMasher by keeping in touch with the community, giving us updates, that's one of the nicest things a dev can make.
about items, instead of storing \them in your item box, just go to your tavern and drop them on the ground, and on the ground they will stay.
I've suggested the inclusion of a complete manual (in addition to the one-minute tutorial which, even if it is awesome, does not cover half the important aspects of the game). Because yer right, there is a LOT going on far above the head of newbies in Dungeon Defenders. The wiki might eventually become the place to learn the game, but right now, it is rather bare-bones as far as the basic gameplay aspects of the game are concerned. There are some good reading if you want to know the different skills and towers of the specific classes, though. I am thinking about writing up a first day guide for new players on the wiki. Might do so in a few days time. Perhaps, if we don't get a complete manual, we can get Trendy Entertainment to include a HTML renderer (MobileSafari) in the game, with an auto-link to the wiki. As for your specific question, items are stored in the Item Box in your Forge, which is available both from the tavern, and during missions. It is the same place you upgrade equipment and store mana. There is no backpack, so whatever the hero does not want to wield directly goes in the Forge. You can lock equipment in the Forge (protecting them from being sold), so that you can use the "Sell All" button to sell all UNLOCKED equipment. (Which is necessary, as you'll be picking up tons of stuff, far too many to sell one by one.) Also, remember that the Forge is shared by all your heroes. As for picking up, you are given two buttons at the bottom of the UI, right of the d-pad, one for equipping the item directly (hand icon), and one for sending it to the Forge (forge icon). YOu have to navigate on top of the items, which can sometimes be a bit less than intuitive.
I agree 100 %. I paid to play this online not solo so no u can't take Ur time, pretty major bugs need to be fixed asap, which Trendy "said" they are doing, so I hope they are.
Considering they've invited beta testers in their area to visit their offices later tonight and beta test the latest build directly, I'd say they are.
Sadly there is no such thing as a "rushed" bug fix when anything submitted through Apple takes 1.5 weeks to make it through.
Yes I know u can host but that means waiting for people to join if they even do, I want to join a game already set up, hence what I was referring to and what I paid for. Period
I've encountered a bug that really annoys me. When I summon a slice n dice and enemies get near it, the blades don't move(they're in position but they don't spin through the enemies). Don't get me wrong, I love DD so much but it's just lacking that polish I've gotten used to with some iOS games. And lately, I've been playing on hard and it's so laggy I can't walk.
Hey thanks! There is definitely a lot of depth to the game that the tutorial misses. And some is just not intuitive. So thanks for the post and the link. Will definitely be reading into it as I find it could be a game I will enjoy for a long time to come. I mean I am enjoying it without knowing the little things already, so I am sure it will only get better the more I know!
It's just sad... well, i bought this game while it was down on 0.99$, But i want to play it, that is bullshit, you open it and it crashes after a few seconds of a blsck screen.... Well fix that darn bug or do something else >:0 i didn't paid for 2 seconds of a black screen.
What is the chance of getting pristine godly armor???? I've gone through insane ogre crush (I'm still running v1 playing local) about 1000 times now. 0 godly pristine items... What is going on???? And can someone tell me if my weapons for each class is top tier godly or not? All lvl10 weapons... Squire weapon deals 2000 last hit elemental damage. Mage weapon deals 350 elemental without charge and 5 particles per shot... Also, it has +8 quick charge so it's helpful... Archer weapon deals 1000 elemental damage and shoots 2 particles per shot, 2 shots per second... Fast reload rate as well with a 40 ammo clip! Monk weapon deals 260 range per chi particle with 4 particles... (is it just me or monks cant do damage for their life?? Hence them being the support character?) Thanks!! EndlessEcho
Hmmmm. Where are your graphics at? EDIT: I'm going to take a video of it. Can anyone who's a squire take video of their spinner in action?
