So I found my new favorite grinding spot. It ain't Ogre Rush no more... but Throne Room on Hard . I just got 2 of my guys to level 70 and gathered about 150,000 coins a game. (Through grabbing all the equipment and selling them) You basically gain a level per a game. ... It's a bit more difficult and longer then Ogre Rush, but it has been the fastest(18 mins per a game) + easiest way (with the correct defense layout and plan) that I've been able to find.
I haven't gotten bored yet and I've probably played for 10 hours. It'll be a lot more fun in 3.0 when familiars are easier to get and you can play multiplayer with Android properly.

If I am still running 1.0 and I just backed up my iPad, am I protected against potential character loss if I upgrade to 3.0 when it comes out?
Yeah, damn. I have played maybe 10 to 12 hours total spread across a few characters. And they are all really really low low level still. But, I like the sound of that. I know of a number of PSP games I logged 100 to 200 hours on apiece. Good bang for the buck.
Hope so. I want to play it a lot this weekend but would rather put in that time with the new version.
