Yeah the update is great except for the whole character reset. Love the tavernkeep. Also I'm DYING to play the new map but...I'm on freaking foundries and forges!!
how would you guys know who and whom lost what? Just curious. [I did an in-app purchase of 2.99 just to further support you guys anyway <3]
Ok so I'm glad I was smart enough to hold up updating due to possible things like this. I really don't want to lose 4 lvl 70 characters. That would bedeeply unsatisfying. So telling us to not update yet is one thing, but for how long should I not update? Would this be an issue I'd have to wait so long that by the time it's resolved I could basically upgrade 4 players to lvl 70 in the same time frame? lol
lost yes, how are you going to know which of us, like me, lost our toons, and which did not? and what is the special surprise that we were supposed to get that you said is the best thing we can think of X 12....? bugs after bugs each patch, and huge bugs man not little forgettable ones. this is nuts. since i am level 1 again i havent played and that sucks.. even when i was level 70 i hardly got to play online cuz of bugs and that sucks.... i just dont get the review process and the testing that you guys do, i really dont. maybe get some actually players who can test your patches out or something cuz this isnt working out and is totally screwed up.
ouch, but they do real testing if you follow them in their own forums or via twitter they do announce patch-tests time to time
Did the developers even test this patch themselves? I'm pretty sure game testers would have some in-game characters (otherwise how would they test anything?), why would they release this patch if it deletes saved games? As for compensation this is an iPhone app, it's probably going to be something like a free IAP or whatever.
hardly useful TBH, as far as my experience go, the tavern keeper work like the stores in RPG games like diablo, equipment/familiars are relative to your levels, I see pets that have significantly better stats as I level up, mistake to buy THAT early. That aside, who started from scratch again? I'm like level 14 : O
Trendy folk, Can I please just get some final decision onlosing my characters or not. If you are planning to just have everyone start from scratch fine but I'd love to know sooner than later. I'm losing valuable leveling time if so. Throw in a pet call it day? Someone has to have a clue.
We will be submitting an update to Apple today that allows you to update with losing character save data. I don't know whether or not you would be able to re-level your new characters by the time it's approved/released, so it's up to you whether you wait or not. Once again, we're super sorry about this whole mess.

It's not that bad, I seem to level as fast as 1.0 (obviously without ogre rush spam.) Once the regular folks get up to adequacy then when able towhack hard/insane should be good again.
Yeah I'm leveling pretty decently. I think more ppl should use the online thread tho once I get to 15 or 20 I start rolling through levels. The tavernkeep is amazing tho. My familiar is amazing as well. He does like 250 damage a hit lol.
Question: When u beat throne room do u just unlock both of the new maps or do u have to Beat them to unlock the next one.

Unfortunately, yes. And honestly, we really can't apologize enough for this. We just hope the new features, better performance, and PvP can somewhat make up for it. I can promise however, that this will NEVER happen again.
