Okay, so the game is still not completely stable. The game still has a Crash problem. Specifically when lots of monsters are about and you are trying to pick up drooped items. It only happens when I'm in the middle of a mob and I try to pick up items. I'll get one or two, sometimes three but then the game crashes.

Also on a side note the equip button and the pick up button should not be next to eachother. I lost my best equipment because I accidentally hit the equip button and then tried to pick it up, when the game crashed :(

This is exactly why I hate the virtual joystick control I use the touch controls.

How come the iPod Touch 4th Gen has BARELY any lag when playing compared to my buggy iPhone 4? I crashed on Servant Quaters and Oakvale when it went out of memory. : (

Oh and calling out on Brad Nicolson so luridly costed me from being banned from TA's comments. >.>

Are you jailbroken on your iPhone?

95% of the issues are with jailbroken hardware... (It's difficult to support jailbroken OS since the OS state can be so different than standard iOS)

I'm on an iPhone 4 but not jailbroken and I only really lag when I'm playing online via gamespy after a few rounds but if it's a big map and a bunch of defences are up I'll lag more. I have not tested the lag through game center yet.

Then I don't know why your iPod would perform better. iPhone and iPad always perform better for us!

Note that if you are hosting a game you will notice more framerate issues because you are sending and receiving everyones data. And by default we try to have iPhone4's and iPads host because their hardware isbetter.

I really like this game, and reading over some people's responses to the bug is really quite depressing how hateful and selfish, etc etc, that some people can be.
I appreciate all the work and generosity of game developers, and the devs of Dungeon Defenders are awesome.

There's always going to be trolls and people who complain just to hear themselves talk. It's just a shame that they have to spoil it for everyone else.

Not-so-important question: So I deleted DD:FW from my phone, thinking it would wipe my achievements because I wanted my GC profile to match my new character. (Seems weird to have the level 60 achievement when my guy is level 1.) I found out after reinstalling the app that all of the leaderboard/achievement information is saved on the GC servers, even when you tell it to remove you from the leaderboards. Is there a way to clear my GC DD:FW profile? Thanks.

When you delete the app, it should ask you if you want to remove gamecenter too.

I did that. All it does it take you off the GC listing, but it doesn't actually wipe anything. Reinstalling the app and running it will put you back where you were previously.

The last time I did a jailbreak was in somewhere in 2007. :)

That's the only reason why I deleted the app hoping if I lost my characters i'd at least have a smoother game back. The initial app startup can take up to 1 - 3 minutes for me too, regardless of GC or GS. The searching for game tab in GS hangs for a minute or two EVERY single time it refreshed or when I want to connect.

I'm a regular on Trendy's official forums, but I registered here so I can post this without being banned.

I really don't like what's become of their official forums. Yes, it is toxic. But the players are justifiably angry. And having their Quality Assurance Lead edit people's posts and ban people who are complaining isn't making making me feel any better about the situation.

The truth is, they have a great game. And I understand that it's their forums, and they can do what they want. However, banning people who complain just adds fuel to the fire, and doesn't solve anything.

I restored back to 2.0, and I'm waiting on the 4.3 release. Honestly, though, I sincerely wish I could return to 1.0. That was the best iphone game I've played, and the only version that actually ran well for me.

The only people who have been banned from our forums are the people who have maliciously attacked our developers on a personal level.

If only I could show you some of the ridiculous hate and personal attacks that me and my coworkers have received because of this mistake. Its absurd.

Selective freedom of speech is the way things it should be!

Not to get into this more than I care though, I am pretty surprised any of you editors would take any insults or negative feedback and hold it to be anything more than poor writing and ignorance. I'm sure there is a lot of vulgarity in most of them. I just don't believe in censorship.

    Love you guys though!

People are acting like children. Trendy is a small developer and they're doing the best with the tools that they have. You have to be able to crawl before you can walk. I commend Trendy for the quality and depth of Dungeon Defenders when they are so small.
