Build and level affect the stats the Guardian pet will have. In addition to the stat boosts they provide, each Guardian class has a slightly different bonus effect on your hero: Mage - Gives your staff a projectile count bonus Huntress - Gives your Huntress an ammo bonus Squire - Makes nearby Defenses have higher resistance Monk - Makes nearby Defenses do more damage
So can you only put a Mage pet on your Apprentice? Or does it add projectiles to Huntress and Monk also (no idea what it could do to squire)?
The Huntress effect doesn't seem too useful compared to the others. Oh well, I've already decided to restore my lost Huntress.
Do this mean 4.3 is not going to keep my characters afterall? Or is this an either or thing? Can I have this pet thing AND upgrade to 4.3?
It's for those that lost characters due to the bug in the last update. The new update will keep your old data
Is that the one I got when iTunes emails me the receipt? Because that's what I used. I guess it doesn't matter anyways. My character was a low level one. I just figured I didn't want to level him up again. Hopefully the new update fixes the lag so I can give this game another chance.
I can see how that is fair but what about players like myselfwho have been supporting and defending the game and I've yet to be able to play a decent online game, haven't been able to upgrade and see the cool new features and have been so patient about it all? I think I should be able to at least get a pet too. Maybe not as strong as others but a decent one none the less. I've had to resort to playing disc drivin and finally NBA jam is out but I miss DD.
Yay sent my request in for my characters to be back . I know it won't be the stats I invested, but I'll start saving up for respec points . I don't know if there is a limit, so I requested all 4 of my characters back. Actually I requested 5, since I mis-wrote the characters name and was hoping it didn't go through lol.
I believe you're misunderstanding something. You get a pet that represents your lost hero, not an actual hero. I'm assuming the pet is not respeccable, so no point in saving up mana for it. Also, you only get one pet regardless of the number of heroes you lost, so you should choose the one that you want the most (either for looks, or for stats). Jeremey posted a list of what they do earlier, so you can take a look at that.
Submitted for hero ressurection I did it twice i think just in case...hope its ok. also anyone know a good way to train and lvl up?
Oh lol I didn't realize it was for pets. I read that they were giving characters back and jumped on it lol. Whatever man, it's still cool . At least they are doing something.
I am scared away from this by the 2 star reviews. Are the bugs fixed yet? I like RPG/action (Battleheart for example) but I dont like overly complicated/hard to learn games. I have a pretty low threshold. Verdict? Thx
Most of the bugs are fixed, the only crash we currently know of is the game not starting due to memory issues (i.e. too many applications over). The 2 star rating is due to a HUGE mistake on our part, where update 4.2 accidentally deleted people's previous save files. I think lots of people on this forum will agree that DD:FW deserves higher than 2 stars ;P. P.S.:It's not overly complicated, although, if you aren't used to playing console games, the controls may take a little while to get used to .
