I'm really liking the game now; quite addictive. One suggestion though to the developers, if possible, please have an option to lower some graphical aspects of the game. I'm on a 3GS, and I lag badly due to the number of things on the screen. Added, the menus slow down as well. Personally, I'd rather play at a lower graphics setting and have a faster framerate than playing at a high one and lagging badly (especially in multiplayer).
The developers have stated the next update should resolve some of the lag issues. Remember to clear your open programs to help with performance. Also, Dungeon Defenders: First Wave currently sits at #51 on Top Paid Apps. It probably would have been higher had EA not had their super sale going on
You know I am enjoying soloing this game much more than multi-player. I don't really like how there's a tower cap for multi-player. It is a lot more fun when I have total control over what to do with that cap.
Man, this game is Lagging (choppy framerates) pretty badly on my iPhone 4. I can't imagine how it would be like on other devices. I hope the developers fix this. Its lagging to the point (at the tutorial!) that it makes me not want to play this atm. I figured if it lagged already with just like 6 units on screen in single player, how the hell would it be like if I was on MP with 4 players, many towers and tons of creeps? I'm sad.
Really? Was fine for me at the tutorial. Online with 4 people and tons of stuff makes it go at like 15 fps, really choppy and made my 4th gen feel like an old 2nd.
Yeah the german they used in this game is absolutely terrible. It just makes no sense, probably made with babelfish, even the menus are just senseless. So please take german out of the game altogether or let someone translate, who speaks english and german. Very very bad job.
Ok I just played a game where some ass kept selling my towers as soon as I spawned them. Do I even get the mana or did he? Lol. I don't believe I did at all. Other people shouldn't be allowed to sell other peoples towers at least not enough to let trolls sabotage the games.
To the devs: Did you try to make the camera fixed behind the hero? Or a dynamic one? I could understand people who doesnt like the game because of this.
Wow that's lame. I can't tell you how epic it is to watch a huge wave slowly tear down your core defenses and destroy your core while your trying so hard to stop them and at the time epic music is playing. It reminded me of halo reach. I had so much hope but deep down I knew my core wouldn't survive(epic music plays)
During my very few minutes with the game, I thought the same thing. Why not make an option for the camera to chase the hero?
I had it once, close all apps and reboot. I have still the usual problem .... No online games! I cannot invite find anybody on GC .... Damn. I like the game solo, but I want multiplay!
I've had great fun with the game so far! Playing monk. Couple of questions though: Does the damage stat affect your missile weapon? What do the monk Boost auras do? Just up the damage of towers or players? It'd be great to see how your stats affect your character. At the moment I'm bit lost Feel free to add me: mono-olli
How far is the customization for the hero? I watched the preview video on the main menu and was wondering if the weapons/skills for the PC/Console version was included in the iDevice.
The current dynamic camera adjusts to make sure some of the scenery does not obscure your character and the action. If they had a follow mode, they would either have to make structures transparent when they would obscure your character, or zoom in dynamically until the object was no longer obstructing.
Sure, a good point that would need to be adressed! But i definately think that this is possible as a lot of other games are doing right this.
Best Choice Ever Well I finally made my decision and i upgraded to 4.2.1 even if it meant losing my custom inferface and I have to say im more than happy I bought this game above anything else. I tried them all and im dissapointed in most of them (Real Racing 2 is too expensive right now).
