I am going to differ with my commander here and say no if someone plays you and is of even skill and level it is useless

Auto rifle is the way to go before vaporizer.

 

lol mines untouched except for clip size. idk what to buy/upgrade. i either want vaporizer or antimatter jet

also, what do the items do, there just for looks ?

 

unless you get hit head on it won't kill you (really low health though) and when you get hit head on your body explodes so there is no taunting possibility

 

I'm a pro at leading though.

yea but if you miss you will die from spam shotty or a souped up auto-rifle @ash gives you credits

 

I just played with no energy and didn't gain any skill points... I went 10-0

You should try upgrading rate of fire and clip size.

The base versions of every weapon definitely don't do them justice.
