does anyone else find it very irritating that when playing offline (with no wifi or 3g or edge), you cannot use your own weapons against bots?
Oh yea I had this other issue too. Sometimes I can use my PC against bots!!!!!! Only on certain levels though: bedlam, flood, onrail
Idea!! To those that it applies to You all should just start a thread titled "Eliminate Gripes..and other whining" Then all the whiners can bond and cry on each others shoulders. Seriously though, we should separate the gripes to another thread and leave the others for specific topics such as tips/tricks/FAQ's etc...
its an Eliminate thread I'm not complaining just speaking about my experiences with the game. I'd say it's perfectly on topic. You can have a thread for tips/tricks....another for FAQ's, another for gripes, etc. But there will always be a main Eliminate thread where this will all come up every now and then. Like i wouldnt have said anything regarding my using plasma cannon offline if it werent for the other's whining
I actually was not referring to you and your opinions. It was to some other extreme issues that overtake the threads sometimes. However, you must have felt guilty so you inadvertently included yourself. Notice I did not quote your comments in my original posting. Now on your quote above, I agree. So you should not have any worries. Just throwing an idea out there so one might find another with same issues but with a possible resolve to them. Just trying to help. I too have seen and dealt with all the issues that everyone is posting about Eliminate, including yours.
"Should" is that key word that will be slapping you in the face after you start playing Eliminate and realize that you felt better about yourself while playing Quake 3 J/K You might want to get used to the controls first before you make comments about your "imagined" skills. They take some getting used to. Good luck.
we aren't gripping, as someone else said just discussing our experiences and regardless, i still love the game and think its awesome
no from what ive heard its a bit fiddly but there are pages and pages on this in the other thread in the game discussion section
Really a decent game, played it until Level 19 now. Power Cells are WAY too expensive though, guess i´ll play w/o energy for a while now. Hope ngmoco stops being greedy and either reduces the price or expands the usage time. U can add me, username is steini81 Quake Live on the iPhone would wash up the floor with this game though. Come on, ID
