I wonder what the preview means? Is it just a glimpse of what 1.1 will contain, or will we actually be able to try out some of the 1.1 weapons and armor in version 1.0. I don't even know if that is possible, but who knows...
Prototype is probably where you can buy a vaporizer for 50 credits, but can only use it like 10 times. Like a trial so people don't complain they spent 600 on a gun they can't even aim. But with the way this games going, the prototype will cost more then the gun itself
Everyone, We have acknowledged the price raising. There's no if and or buts about it. The fact of the matter is we are seeing that most users can upgrade almost ALL of their weapon stats when they hit level requirements. This was never intended and speaks to how loosely we're managing our in-game economy. The entire point of having upgradable weapons and armor is to force a decision on what you want. Like speed and fast firing weapons? Then you might not have the best armor or damage output. Like taking lots of hits and dealing out damage? Then you should have far less maneuverability than the player above. The price of upgrades will continue to evolve based on the data that we see. As for the berserker shield, the duration was decreased a while back. This severely limits it's usability and as of now, it's actually a survivable experience. I know, because I play this game everyday, just like you guys do. All in all, the Eliminate development team is 4 people. We have to gauge and prioritize every issue that is reported, and we have a list as long as this thread of things we want to do. I'll cover 1.1 in another post, as nobody is going to read through this wall of text.
Ah, I see. That makes some sense. Hopefully they aren't introducing "prototype only" armor and weapons, that can only be purchased temporarily and not permanently. I could see them trying to make you pay real money for those, and then having them be temporary. Fits in with there pay to play model.
From the email: These prototypes are specially modified weapons and armors that come pre-upgraded so current employees can take them for a test drive before deciding to purchase the real deal. But since they are experimental, these prototypes have limited durability and will only last for a few arena tests. Also new map called CUBE.
price raising of what? are they gonna make people pay for eliminate? good thing i got all the updates for free SUKERS
The people already lv50 who have upgraded armour are at an advantage to those lower lvls who must now pay more credits to upgrade. "Raising upgrade prices" is not customer-focused. All the updates you do don't have to focus on just making money, if you focus more on the customers the money will come.
