I know that but today i knew there are ppl of my level and skill online and i still got matched up against lvl 50s that have 1500 more skill than me
I just played a match where a guy uses rocket launcher, switches to plasma cannon, and then uses auto-rifle. He used 3 weapons!
aleksa-94 yeah, there should be at least sometimes enough players of your level and close skills, but so far all matches are always with high level enemies. What is funny that even with new account i faced enemies with levels above 10. Terrorist fo penner.
It's going to be pretty hard and time consuming to bring ur skill down to 3-4k to play 30s I still suck at this game >_> I can't seemto move around with my new iPod 3g did they change something? I is now focusing on just spamming vap and any head I see and then dying when I have no energy to keep myself at 2.9-3.1k skill
Wow i played for the first time in like 2 weeks now. My skill was like 5500 at lvl 21. Now it dropped to like 4500. This is retarded. First game I played 40s, okay I nearly won but my skill dropped like 100 points. Then i played a lvl 50, a lvl 45, and lvl 44. I got pwned up the ass 10-6-5-3(me). My skill drops 300. Then i get in a game with a bunch of 30s and my connection drops. Im guessing that caused it drop to 4500.
Hey, i just noticed something. Right now there is only 2000 people online. That is big drop! At the world launch it was about 5000 people online!

but how u can make it? as long as there is no energy i can join only matches in progress, so no skills change. and to spend energy on skill lowering is not that nice.
Not always. You'll be able to start matches at the beginning sometimes (maybe 1 out of every 5 or 6, maybe more) rather than in progress even if you're not energized. From there, you can bail out of the match and your skill level will drop. But yea, if you're energized, it's tough and I wouldn't do it since you're wasting your precious energy. Unfortunately, I hate to admit it, but due to the matchmaking, count me in as another who has decided to lower my skill level to avoid having to match up against players 15+ levels ahead of me. And yes, I've been one-shotted by ginababe and by batouttaheaven's vaporizer. Because I really don't want to pay for power cells, it's been incredibly difficult lately to level up -- especially with the costs of the upgrades substantially higher now -- making the disparity among players of different levels even tougher/longer to overcome when the gap is big. For the time being, I'm just going to lay low so I can level up, collect credits, and improve my gear. I don't care about any skill points or ranking. I just want a fairly level playing field to make it fun. The matchmaking was just too unbearable and really took out a lot of the fun out of the game when I would immediately get one-shotted 2 seconds after respawning... rinse and repeat.
downing like 3500 skill levels it will go down fast at first but you will lose like 40 skill level per loss pretty soon and its going to be slooooowww
