I lost my connection again when we just played with you and mcelotto... IT IS REALLY ANNOYING... it also takes like a minute to load up. Terrorist do you get the same errors? Here I just took some screenshots:

 

Yeah...the only bad thing is that I lose skill / energy and don't get credits

Damn those problems happen again and again... I could trow my 3GS out of the window right now... and now it even crashes...DAMN!

 

Well at least I used to be #2 globally... I don't think anyone has a chance against Terrorist as he has the best possible ping times in Torronto...I'm assuming he is only a couple of miles away from the servers location so he has always an advantage.....#2 is like #1 for me

I'm getting the idea that Terrorist works for a server company that accommodates ngmoco's Eliminate Servers...so he must have pings of 1 ms or so

 

actually the servers are in the US (washington) if i'm not mistaken

Did you get the same error in game? That's what I get all the time...

 

The lag makes this game nearly impossible to play in the Netherlands.

 

no i only get that error why my router loses connection with my ipod (dead zone in my house)

 

ngmoco Please note:
Employees in GERMANY, SPAIN, NETHERLANDS and other parts of EUROPE (it's not a country!!!!) are on strike!!!!

They demand:
- faster servers
- LOWER ping times for EUROPE

 

It's really annoying how laggy it is for me. It's very easy to kill me.

Strange this game is laggy in europe. This is the only iphone game that doesn't lag in india

 

Game Impressions

Eliminate is still the most polished multiplayer game on the iPhone/iPod Touch. The 1.1 makes it more enjoyable and balanced but it still needs a bit more tweeking. I think the servers are in Chicago but try these settings to reduce lag:
Turn ON Airplane Mode
Turn OFF Push in Mail Settings and set Fetch to Manual
Turn OFF Notifications
Turn ON Wifi

well if u just play casually sure you won't notice it the game smoothens the movement u won't notice screen jerking frame rate dropping etc.
BUT the lag you notice is that your shots never hit even when the guy seems to be standing in the corner, all u see is that he keeps moving u keep missing, that is the hidden lag, coz by the time the server registers your shot the guy has already moved.
It's most apparent in 1 vs 1.
In 4 players there's just so much body mass moving around that you are bound to hit something

anyway if u live faraway in the east like me... Use rocket launcher!
never ever buy a vaporizer
