I don't suck! It's just very difficult to play against Terrorist and being #2 guess who you will enjoy playing against all the time... Ping difference is by far the most important tweak in this game.
Distance doesn't matter, quality of your connection does. You won't see anyone in Japan or South Korea complain
AUGH!!!! Ironman is a major n00b! He has the Antimatter Jet and just sits in the thin hallways constantly shooting them so they ricochet down making it impossible to get to him! Noob!
lol, yea i played against several people that uses that technique.. quite annoying but i wouldn't regard him as a "noob" just because of that... more like he is strategically using his weapon's properties in conjuction with the level's structure

I feel pretty good. Just won a match with 10 kills and 97 credits! Most I ever got. Broke my 87 noob record. Now I'm 97 noob . Iwas pared with a guy with tank armor who sucks plus several other noobs who are just under 30.
I'm hitting that point of only getting paired against lv 50's and up....Played Real Racing Fan....first time i see a recognizable TA member other than bat. i barely won...it was like 5-4-3-3 or something. Vaporizer is a lot of fun, vaporizing your opponents is pretty awesome.
Hey all I'm pretty new to the game (aka funkytownie). I live in the UK so my server is where? I notice lag in some games, but performance (on an iTouch 3rd G) can vary greatly from one match to the next. I wanted to ask generall consensus on power ccell purchases. I've spent the odd few pounds on power cells to get me to level 12, but I'm looking at getting 1150 for £20 later on tonight. - how many levels do you think that'll get me up / how long (days) will that do me and - are they really that essential to level up your employee in order to rise up the ranks. I browse the TA forums alot, but this is my first post. Ever. My goal in life is to rise up the ranks until I take #2 from expandin and then NOT gloat about it every second message I post. Buying cells is next to pointless unless you want to power level. I'm level 44, topped out at rank 18th worldwide, have 55 powercells, maxed out weapon and armor, and didn't pay a cent.
1150 cells = 288 games 1st place usually gets you around 70 credits. So around 20,000 credits for the whole pack of cells. That's probably about right even if you don't get first every match because you'll end up joining in-progress matches which won't deduct energy and even out the 2nd or 3rd places. It takes 32,000 credits to get from lvl 1 to 50. and yes they are essential. don't expect to get in top 10 without being at least level 48. and if you want to get that 2nd place i'd suggest learning to use the vaporizer too.
well obviously this kid doesnt want to spend like a month waiting for his shit to recharge so that he can get leveled up. i dont know i was just giving him my opinion. you got one then give it asshole.
Cheers Terrorist, makes sense. Though I ain't been called a kid for a decade or so... I got the game the day it came out and after tinkering with it for a bit I decided to leave it until there was a healthy user base and I went off to play the hoplessly banal Modern Combat. Seems like theres plenty of interest surrounding it now though. By my reckoning those 300-odd games will take me up at least 30 levels or so, if you take into consideration the natural recharges when I'm sleeping. I don't always finish first, but I'm near enough always top two. The other think I wanted to ask - The recharge times are all over the place now. When I last played, ngmoco occasionally introduced x4 recharge bonus periods but now partial recharges can take 15 mins, an hour, 2 hours or 4 (i think). Is there a set pattern I should be aware of? I follow @ngmoco and @arsenalmegacorp on twitter and the latter in particular is rather good at keeping me up to date on recharge times but I haven't noticed much recently. And this server / ping times nonsense can't be right, can it? Surely here in Glasgow I've got just as good a chance to beat someone who's swallowed a server in Canada? it's always 2 hours for 1/3 unless you receive a popup message when you login telling you otherwise. about pings and people bitching about how it's affecting gameplay is just their bullshit way of hiding from the reality that they suck. if you've got a good connection and you dont live in the antarctic u should be fine.
I'm in the middle of Operation Skill Demolition. Lowering my skill so I can play newbies and gain 100+credits per round. Cheap, I know, but fun as hell.
I am pretty sure you can't get 100+ credits anymore, after the 20 credit cap for taunting. Unless ngmoco has changed it back.
