Yeah, happens to me all the time when you're not online Which is nice... that's the ONLY reason to be in the higher skill ranks... Just got a message from the support team my email was redirected to the proper team to take care of that. I wish they can fix my problem today. I get like 15 matches in progress for every 12 cells. So yeah it makes more sense to play globally My biggest feature request for 1.2 is, a button to fix my problem
Stop Shield Camping I cant understand this, i was ranked 3rd (skill) and went global, played a guy that is ranked top ten, for his sake ill leave his name out and all he did was shield camp and bash me to death after he had the health advantage. Look here, if you one of the top players and you all know who you are, when your in a 1v1 with someone else who is obv a top player, play with your skill not a shield. I have no respect for someone that is top ranked cause they can sit on a shield all day. Like i said you know who you are and i tried adding so we can 1v1 no shield, just to see what happens. I have been told that you are good, so i want to see how good you are without a shield. I mean booyaka, when he was playing and we were 1v1'ing honestly he destroyed me, and neither of us used a shield. expandin, the one time we 1v1'ed he obliterated me (although the next like 3 times we played he "lost connection" and Terrorist, of course he doesnt even think of a shield when we play, hell ill use shields and he will still kill me. I guess all im saying is where is the skill in this game? Cause it sure seems that only a handful of the top ranked players got there due to skill, the rest seem to just spam the servers with rockets, antimatter and shield camping.
I agree! They should make it so u can't shield bash. If there weren't shield bashes the game might be a little more different.
expandin, is it still lagging for you?? Lags like crazy for me, especially when I'm with people using the rocket launcher. It slows down to a crawl!
Yeah. It got better I think but still far from optimal. It's very hard to predict where the opponents are moving to because of the lags. You are also right it gets FAR worse with rocket launchers in game... if you have 2 people firing rockets at you then you know you can quit the game and leave for today. Our serves are in Amsterdam... I think either those are not fast enough or their connection is just not optimal for gaming. I'm assuming the US data center is just more capable.
You are right! I'm shield camping sometimes too... but I'm doing it because I get bored of the whole lags I'm experiencing. It's just not fair if you have a messed up connection. The game would be way better without rocket launchers and shields. Rocket launchers slow the game to death and shields are just annoying. Hopefully they will get rid of the two things. I've seen you rise to the top during the last couple of days and you do great in matches!
They have servers in Amsterdam now? That's still pretty far away from Barcelona... At least it's more or less closer to you. I'm going to Finland this weekend for Christmas. Hopefully with their faster internet speeds and maybe less people playing the game there, it might be a bit smoother for me than now. We'll see...
I found a bug in that if you have the exact same amount of credits as needed for an upgrade that you have available to you, the upgrade '+' sign will be in red and you can't upgrade. Somebody at Ngmoco needs to change a ">" into a ">="!
Does anybody have fully upgraded standard? I have some tests I wanna do. PM me with ur plus+ if u have it full or even 8/9 outta 10.
I agree, who cares about respect. If it mattered there should be a respect leaderboard If you're on top you're on top plain and simple. Until the berserker's away i see it as fair game, as annoying as it is.
