    Ricohet gun.

I would be happy to see outside maps with more open areas

-snow map outside with bunkers like 007 goldeneye n64.

    - jungle map. Like predator with small military huts/ bases.

    - urban map with streets and torn down buildings/slums like terminator salvation.

    - desert map with a old western ghost town theme.

    - map with lava (amizonia like twisted metal.)

I think eliminate has some awesome maps but they are all indoors. Are any of these suggestions possible ngmoco? I think they would add much needed diversity in game

    Eliminate Pro vs. N.O.V.A.

    MY COMPARISON / SUGGESTIONS

    Controls
    ---------
I've been playing NOVA lately and realized what I missed most in Eliminate. For the next version (1.2 / 2.0) it really needs to be less laggy. I'm having ping of 200 in NOVA an there is absolutely NO LAGS. In Eliminate I'm lagging once again! Even worse is lags with the scrolling effect of the controls in Eliminate combined. Using the vap there is no chance of hitting the target with the first beam, since 1. the player moved somewhere else by the time the next frame arrives and 2. the scrolling makes it impossible to aim as precise as necessary when playing games with skilled players. In NOVA I can aim as precise as I can imagine it being on an iDevice. It's PERFECT! I love shooting rockets while I'm in the air and predicting where the player will be by the time of impact in NOVA. It's hardly possible with the current lags and controls in Eliminate to do that for me.
I used to be amazed by the scrolling effect in the beginning and now I realized it doesn't suit me. Terrorist turned his sensitivity way down as far as he could... I tried that too a couple of times but it's just way too much dragging for me and if I get the sens to 3/10 I get that annoying scrolling effect again.... at 5/10 it not precise anymore. 5/10-10/10 unplayable anymore with higher skilled players.

I really do appreciate those to the point controls WIHOUT THE SCROLLING in NOVA!!!!!! Please, Please remove the scrolling or give us an option to deactivate it. I would love to look around the way I do in NOVA. I know it's harder to turn around that way. I would recommend adding the scrolling effect only if it's clear that the player wants a 180-degree movement, by initiating a really fast spin from left to right and vice versa.

Please friends include the option to disable the scrolling effect it BY FAR more important to me than any other option.

    Graphics
    ---------
I love NOVA's graphics but I do not think Eliminate Pro is far behind. What I would love to see though is are brighter colors.. After playing 300495 matches in Eliminate I find most of the maps to be somewhat depressing. The are mostly dark and cold. The new map is awesome as it's very creative, but it's just way tooooo dark for me to feel comfortable.

    Maps
    -----
Eliminate wins here hands down. I like the maps in NOVA but Eliminate maps are just very creative... lots of elevators and bridges... very nice! Water doesn't exist in NOVA at all!!! I somehow knew the new map would be a green one it's the only color that was left :) The next map will be yellow :) Yay!!!

    Overall
    --------
I think both games will survive quite well. Calling Eliminate Pro the worst game in 2009 is a good reason to get an appointment with the doc asap. Eliminate Pro is still sick... I enjoyed playing it through the whole month. It's still technically a masterpiece...the matchmaking is a difficult undertaking that still... I believe it's the only reason the game has energy-based in app-purchases. Since for this sort of match-making to make sense the game needs to have 500+ players online all the time. In order to get that many players online and playing you need to make it cheap...what's better than free? So it's free with in-app purchases. The main problem with energy cells right now is that you get up to 48 free cells in 24 hours. If you keep on playing it for say 20 minutes every 4 hours and can get at least 40 or so per day. Say you play 30$ to get 975 cells. You don't want to use them up in 2 days right? So say you will be using them up during the course of 10 days, by playing 2 hours per day straight. In the end you will have spent 30$ on 10 days of gameplay but you could get there for free in just 10 days more. So in the end financially it doesn't make sense to buy cells for me right now. I paid over 40$ for cells mainly in order to support ngmoco and the Eliminate project. But I can see how many people refuse to pay money for cells for various reasons.
BUT saying ngmoco is greedy plain dumb... the prices are high, but maybe they didn't expect many people to buy cells. I see it from a different perspective. Say 99% of the people don't buy cells... so you get matched up with those people and level up slowly...no disadvantages there! 1% pays lot's of $$$ for cells and you can look at it as donations so they can level up faster that's fine but they still need to play more or exchange cells for credits at horrible rate and pay there again. Actually the game is as fair as it can get with a player-base of 500 000+ of course there will be those in the TOP 100 (0,02%) who invest in cells and level up faster BUT they deserve to get there faster since they support the project.

    MY VERDICT:
Eliminate Pro is still awesome and constant updates will hopefully keep it there.
NOVA is more for the casual player not caring about RPG and wishing to play a couple hours per month at most so level up wouldn't make sense for this type of player.
The only problem though...most players are casual and not pros. So NOVA will still attract a good fan-base. Which is fair. I'm not the biggest gameloft fan, but they exceeded my expectations by far!!!

For me personally, I am sticking with NOVA until the controls in Eliminate get improved. Having the option to have similar controls to NOVA also makes sense financially since there is a huge gameloft fanbase with lots of people only having NOVA. They will download Eliminate one day too, since it's free! But after comparing the controls and finding out that those in Eliminate are way harder to master, most of them will give up fast and return to NOVA deleting the app... in order to facilitate switchings from NOVA to Eliminate it really needs to support their control scheme (without scrollings) too.

Plus: 5 more maps and I'm happy!

    @MJ/Allen:
Is there any possibility we could hope for the option to disable the aim scrollings in the next update?

PS: @MJ: So I was right about the option to have downloadable maps and weapons in 1.1:)

Is there any chance you could tell us now what we can expect to find in the next update? Would be really nice to know what feature has the top priority.

Has anyone played 7swords prologue for iTouch? The grassland map in team battle mode would be ideal for ELIMINATE! Open area with bridges, hills, water areas under the hills; very lush. It's called aurora or something like that. Very bright, colorful, and pure beauty. I would love to see something similar to that implemented in a future update.

I love doing "slide-bys" on the Frostbite level.

Runoff is very different, I like it.

Hate the snow level. It's a lazy attempt to 'add' content, but as long as some 'fans' are satisfied more power!

    Are these posts really necessary?

If you don't like the game, quit wasting your time bitching about it.

You're always welcome MJ. Looking forward to seeing Eliminate evolve. People will soon realize NOVA is static while Eliminate grows with every update. Hopefully I can help. It's still my personal game of the year, even In comparison with NOVA. They are two different games actually. While NOVAs main focus is on the campaign mode. Eliminates campaign mode IS the leveling up and finding an own gaming style. It makes Eliminate very unique in my opinion and very hard to copy for others. Multiplayer in NOVA is fun but doesn't feel as deep. I would die to know what you guys think of NOVA. Especially where you see it's strengths and weaknesses and what you would like to learn from it.

Eliminate's campaign mode is to get money from their 'employees'! And I hope to high heavens that no other game tries to copy what eliminate is doing!

Maybe you guys can add backstory of why arsonal corp was made and have a mid-long (4-5hours) worth of story line that is better then novas (like not halo rip off) and make it like fps on consoles where you pick up weapons along way (predetermind) and add vehicles or weapons (pistol and stuff) and make it as dlc :3
    leave multiplayer as it is
maybe lite version (1 level (first) that last 10 minute or so and offer full version later)
boy i would pay for that dlc :3
adds offline value multiplayer AND target practice (bots) nothing other fps offers :D
storyline why asonal was made= ex: war between nation (not aliens i am sick of those generic halo doom ripoff)
mKe it cool like futuristic tanks weapons armors other use (fancier looking employee armor as now and matching weapon)

would be gud to know orgins and stuff
sell for 2-4.99 and we would love it :D

maybe call of duty style story mode?

    Hqters shouldnt complain here :(

I couldn't care less about any campaign mode. Just add good multiplayer features, as new maps, modes, weapons and tweak the gameplay. Eliminate is all about multiplayer.
