I was just kidding...since I asked MJ if she is going to present Eliminate Pro on the 27th during the iSlate keynote and she didn't reply... that's because ngmoco is always appearing on Apple's keynotes. So chances are very high we will see Chris/Neil/Stepahnie/Brandon/or MJ on there. Why MJ? Because Brandon and MJ haven't presented yet and it's about time LOL MJ will never comment on these posts because Apple might feel betrayed and cry. Can you imagine a better promotion than Eliminate Pro on a revolutionary device like the iSlate.... Over night 2 billion people would know about Eliminate... This sort of media exposure is price less. A game like Eliminate on the iSlate would be an amazing thing to get developers motivated to develop sophisticated games for the iPhone/iSlate and show that the iSlate is a game console besides being an ebood reader/large itouch. And finally after the iSlate keynote MJ will be more famous than Michael Jackson! JK
The iSlate is supposedly going to have a 10 inch screen. How would you be able to play Eliminate on it? How would you hold it?
Getting to the point where I have to skill drop.. Too many level 37's to 55's plus runnin around shield camping wearing tank and spraying n praying with rockets or anitmatter..cmon guys I'm only lvl 15 using vaporizer with only 3 shots per reload. Have to reload 3-4 times to take down one of you fcks lol
... Is there a reason why the game gets extremely laggy after the first match now, and CRASHES EVERY TIME??! I never had a problem like that before, but I have it NONSTOP now. Can't play two games in a row without crashing. And look, that chat bug is still there, where you can't make a message five words long until it's unreadable. And I just got dominated by a guy who spammed antimatter where the shield was in bedlam, with tanker armor. Noooow I know why I quit this game.

Is it just me or does it seem really unlikely that people will be playing eliminate on the islate? I mean with how much larger the screen is you can no longer use your thumbs for controls, you will have to like use 4 fingers of makes fists for makeshift joy sticks. Maybe im confused, but i dont see there being a benefit of a bigger screen if it makes it insanely harder to control, when we already have a hard control scheme... Has anyone noticed the trend in antimatter jets lately? It seems like alot of people are using them lately, i was actually in tank earlier with 3 others all using antimatter. Needless to say, that was not very fun, not only does it make the game lag unbelievably, but all u see is purple balls all over the place... not my cup of tea to say the least, and in tank, they are virtually unavoidable. Like you end up with 2 choices, a. go and try to kill them and die to random noobs ball hitting you, and its not like they hit you intentionally, there just firing away, or b. try to snipe them and lose anyway cause they just a big purple ball festival in another room! And one more thing, the lag on the game has been ridiculous lately. Normally i would rate the lag i experience at a 1.5/10 but for about the last three days i would say on average its more like 6/10 peaking out at 9.5/10. I mean even in personal matches, i was playing a friend at runoff. I grabbed the damage amplifier up top and the teleported through the wall to the corner leading down to the elevator? And i mean i didnt even get shield bashed through it this time, the game just pulled a houdini on me. I hope that doesnt happen to me in global... Congrats to Andrew1995e on 2nd place in skill (not that it matters, "you always told me if your not first your last" and thats pretty much the truth, cause aint no one ever gonna pass terrorist until either they reset the skill board, or he decides to let someone pass him.) All im saying is that there is really no point in getting up high, all it does is make you wary of your skill and make you not want to play global. I let myself slip from 3rd to like 15th or 20th awhile ago, and i have been having so much more fun just going on and playing to kill instead of playing for skill. ROFL what you mean? I run faster with the knife! Can anyone with a 3gs or 3rd gen touch please post screenshots of bot mode with a bot in the screen and vap as your weapon? They both are supposed to take advantage of Open GL 2.0s accelerated graphics, but only the 3gs does. My 64gb 3rd gen touch not only looks awful, but gets much worse framerate than the 3gs. I'm trying to figure out of it's my device or if this is the case for all 3rd gen touches. Please specify if the screen ur posting is on a 3gs or 3rd gen touch.
I love this game, even with the lag. But the last few days Eliminate has been unplayable for me, so much lag... Edit to add my location too The Netherlands
Just chiming in that I've been getting tons of lag lately too. I usually get some lag, but lately it's getting ridiculous. It's an awesome game, but the lags really cripple it. Especially when lots of rockets are going off. Edited to add my location. Paris France.
We probably get the worst lag here in Europe... I played a couple matches this morning at 7.00 am to see if it's better in the morning and YES there's VERY little lag for me at 7 am German time ( 1 am NY, 10pm San Francisco time)... I was very surprised by that ... I guess I've found the right time slot to play for me now. If you think about it it really makes sense... since most US players are either sleeping or preparing for bed. And in Europe it's way to early to play... so that's the only time I've found without any issues and that's some good news for me. ngmoco is currently investigating all that and do their best to "eliminate" the lag as far as possible... I hope they will find a way soon.

That's what that push notification was... I thought eliminate added a map named charadium, or some weird new mode. I was like wtf? And ya I seen it but not in like 4 years. Epic.
So I think I may have figrured out the lag issue. Now I'm not computer tech or anything so this may be completely wrong, so don't jump my shyt about it. I have notices that I only lag when certain players are on. Mainly my friend strakhov. When he is on, I lag in every game I play, and when we play, I lag even more. There are a few other friends of mine who I have the same issue with. I'm not sure how the servers work at all but if a European player is playing say an American plyer, does that connect to different servers? Or do I just not understand how that works. Cause also my friend hiko (lazy) has the same effect on me. I just noticed this so maybe it's just coincidence, but worth mentioning. And when I got to thinking about it, I realized that I virtually never lagged before I added strakhov as a friend and played a 1v1 with him. It's strange but from then on, I started glitching through walls, lagging insanely, and having wat seemed Like a hacked acct. Just saying, if it's possible, maybe it shud b looked into. Cause I was on earlier at like 3:00 California time, had like 9 friends on, all American and had zero lag, one of my european friends logs in and then it's lag city...
I played for about 30 minutes tonight. 100% of my matches had lag. Every single freaking one. I'd estimate over 1/3 of the matches, I dropped out despite seeing my wifi connection is solid full bars. Yet, I continued to play on, hoping to at least have one enjoyable, lag-free game, which proved to be elusive. Oh well, at least one benefit is that my skill got crushed, so I can now go against lower level players to earn more credits. No need to tank my skill since ngmoco did it for me.
