Shield bashing Everyone is bashing shield bashing, and it's annoying when someone does it the whole game, but it seems to me that certain situations call for it? One guy was sitting by the shield in runoff, apparently waiting to pick off whoever grabbed the shield, and he was a sitting duck in direct line of my gravity hook. Ie the shield was between him and me, and he wasn't moving a muscle. So I fired the hook behind his head, picked up the shield on my way and bashed him. It was too funny not to do. No one (AFAIK) had been shieldbashing anyone that game, so it wasn't like he had to squat there for revenge. Instant ragequit on his part. Oh well. Like I said, I don't use shieldbashing as an intentional tactic, but when an opportunity like that presents itself on a silver platter I see no reason to pass it up.
Sensitivity settings Some people have been asking about what people's settings are. I'm hardly on any leaderboards, so take this with requisite grain of salt. Since I turned off momentum and maxed out sensitivity my aim seems to have improved considerably. UI note to ngmoco : If you're going to give us sliders for our settings, give us some instant test option so we don't have to change settings, open a game against bots, go back to settings, etc etc. Might as well have basic fixed choices otherwise: Not sensitive, somewhat, medium, very, and max. Fine tuning between those in its current iteration is pointless.
43 more skill and Ill hit 9000! Just played Ginababe, or the person she gave the account to, and won with 10, and second place only having 5 kills. Lol, Im kinda worried though, cause Ill start getting destroyed by the top players, most likley. Man, it's getting fun! And a reply to the AR or Mag-Rail, I prefer the Mag-Rail, cause it does extra headshot damage, and the clip lasts longer. I don't want to upgrade the MR Jr though, because Im not sure how good it will be. Can anyone tell me how a fully upgraded MR Jr compares to a fully upgraded MR proto? Thanks.
hey guys, few questions to ask, 1: wat does it mean when my weapon says: expires after .... matches? 2: i just got the gravity gun thingy, and was wondering is it useful for getting credits? 3: do u get credits by picking them things up when a player has been defeated, or do u get credits from actually defeating the player because i am not fully sure lol can u plz help me with these questions
What's up folks? I'm new here, but have been playing Eliminate since launch. Been reading quite a bit of whining about shield-bashery on this forum. In my opinion, it's a perfectly valid tactic, which takes some skill (when used with the gravity hook) to pull-off consistently. You plan your movements around the map according to when the shield will respawn. I try not to shield-camp though, that's just lame. I think it puts a whole new spin on standard FPS gameplay, and can be a source of incredible amusement when used effectively (I'm thinking of the shield-bashing merry-go-round in Tank - that just cracks me up when I'm doin' the bashin LOL!). I think you just need to accept it for what it is and that it's here to stay. I think of it as a 3rd weapon to kill you all with! To all the haters out there: maybe you should learn how to use it to your advantage, rather than complaining about it 24/7. If you come up against kokbat, expect to be bashed! That's my two-cents anyways.
1. The expiry thing means that you can play certain amount of games before your item expires and disappeared from your inventory (most likely proto type armor, weapons, camos. 2. Gravity hook isnt a weapon for getting credits. But it's good for collecting credits if u killed an opponent in an odd spot and the credits are stuck on a wall. It's a grapple 3. You collect credits when u killed an opponent. They drop those greeny looking things. U get credits for killing and winning a match. Hope that helps
@terrorist if you bump into a match with ginababe can u tell me who wins. The new owner of it says he could probably beat you. Lol. I saw what he equipped. Rockets and jumper suit... Lol

You're right on the shield issue. If it's there it all good when people use it. I never complained about it and I know ways to protect myself against noob shield-bashers. If people don't know how to prevent being shield-bashed they suck themselves. It's part of the game and they suck on that part. Period. It's like saying I like playing Tennis but I hate the net. Can we get rid of the net please.
I hate RIG. Its too open, and for Gravity Hook Bashers, its a dream. I just vs FiNgErBaNg7 or something like that, in RIG, he won 5-4, and 4 of his kills were bashes, AND I lost about 150 skill, even though he has higher skill. How dumb.
No when you go to buy gear, the items that are in a gold colored box, are the prototype items meaning they're the expired one. The grav hook can be use full by shooting it at walls to get across a gaps, through water, or to hide in high places.
Lol! Well I agree with your part. It does require some skill espescially people who have a hard time shield bashing in tank armor and in tricky maps such as flood, and bedlam
