I've actually never said that =P Another example that you could use would be grades on some assignment for instance. Guy 1 "I got 89% on X" Guy 2 "Oh we almost got an A!" Guy 1 "What are you talking about? You got an F." It doesn't make much sense. Considering it wasn't a partner assignment of course.
