I'm decent with the Auto-Rifle. It's the only gun I use. Then I use the infiltrator armor and run circles around the competition.
Yeah all I use is: Auto-Rifle+Sniper+Hook just to evade a shield basher when I see them coming for me. I've become pretty well adapted to that combo. It works perfect (for me). I still get bashed from time to time when I dont see them coming but it has never been a bother for the most part. R.L. users are a whole different story when they catch me off-guard. I can evade (strafing) them while head-shotting pretty easily when I see them first. Really looking forward to the co-op though.
I don't play anymore. Hacking the Vaporizer kills someone in one shot with an aimbot. And the rocket launching noobs piss me off. Right when I've dealt with one, another ambushes me from behind. Screw this game, I have better ones to play.
Auto Rifle is what I use as well, but Oddly I'm rank 13 and I get paired up with all of these rank 24-27 people who kick my @$$ because all of their gear is jacked up. They all use the stupid vaporizer and 1 hit me. Therefore I can't progress unless I go on at like 4 AM where I play people my rank and own them.
I'm paired up with people 20+ levels from me from time to time and I am still able to win rounds. There are vaporizer users, Rockets users, and Anti-matters I see a lot of. Just keep trying to hone your skills. I realize I'm not going to win every single match but I do win 6 to 7 out of 10 against the higher levels(and yes the one hit kills do happen but there is a solution to every problem rather than giving up). Never stop moving is one way to get around a vapo-user and R.L user to try and not get hit and get health every chance you get. The Auto-Rifle requires a good amount of aiming skill. Go offline and practice your strafing against bots and headshot as much as possible. I still do that from time to time when I dont have a wifi connection just to keep my aiming up. I also have my sensitivity up to it's highest and look momentum turned off. Practice makes perfect. @Kunning I have never ran into a hacker on ELIMINATE...how can you tell?
You have a couple options: 1) Hone your skill, as the above user suggested. Practicing headshots in bot mode is quick and easy. If you're good, you'll be fine. 2) Lower your skill through purposefully losing (without energy). This option would be ok at your level, but it might take a while to get back up. If you were higher up, that would be kinda mean to the littl'uns.
dude since like 4 months ago when i told ppl i have an aimbot u somehow got the idea that this was even possible. Absolutely nobody in this game has an aimbot, trust me. Or dont i dont give a shit, I have an aimbot.
Use the mag proto instead of the rifle. Suck that it only last for 6 matches but easier to take those higher level players out.
gah at 7.8k skill its already hard >_< There are guys in tank armor and rocket launcher that can 3 hit me with thier ultra fast fire rate and mad knockback theres vap that can kill me in 1 hit Theres mag railz :< I am fighting people with rank 60 or 70 most of the time >_< I wont let my skill down though witout a a fight :]
