Thanks, but I couldn't even get past the first battle in the Elixir of Nature key quest. Some one shot monster shielded (so 0 on every single swipe) everything. Is it a crit shot that gets past that?

I use aoe all the time now. When I went through the tutorial I thought it was only with a single color. Once I realized you could link into an aoe it became a totally different game

You have to kill the little guys first. It's not obvious at first, but they're shielding the bigger creatures

Aha...sheesh I could have been doing this a long time ago then. The only annoying thing is that you can only select one target at a time (if you want to select one) so it is going to the shielded monster after killing the first guard instead of swiping the second guard. Other than that, not bad at all. Thanks!

True. Especially with a shielded heavy hitter, I try to close a circle of links to attack everyone.

I contacted them and have heard nothing back at all. I tried the Facebook page, emailed support. Private messaged her. Nothing. I have not been able to play now for 3 days. Lost me daily reward. Getting frustrated.

Wow. Nice job! Need a 5* Big Bad Wolf (or 5* Paladin - still not sure which would be best as leader/friend)? pssbW1T9Jh

Okay, yeah, 22-3 really needs a nerf. Even after evolving I can't break 50% with a 6* Merlin friend leader.

I just ran with a maxed Cinderella to try to understand the numbers. Buffing up by 50% with a blue Elf Lord in addition to 6* Charming, 5* Thrushbeard, 4* Snow White and 5* Cinderella yields a damage bonus of 3.5x even against the green boss after accounting for the element penalty. I turned all but three tiles on the board blue and hit him, doing probably about 7% of his health. How is that even possible?

That's why monocolour teams are a bad idea

Well, let's see. Charming and Thrushbeard are both powerful enough to stand in any team regardless of monocolor or not. Building on that framework, the weakest on that team in terms of burst is Snow White. Replacing her would chop off 40% of my damage...

Charming with Snow, no elf active: 5992
    Charming without: 4280
    Thrushbeard with Snow: 3326
    Thrushbeard without: 2375
    Snow (with Snow, obviously): 2942
    Elf with snow: 1723
    Elf without: 1231

    1712 + 951 + 2942 + 492 = 6097 attack lost by removing her

So I'd need a green guy of 3048 (1905 given Thrush) attack or a red guy of 1524 (952) attack or higher to break even on this boss. I definitely don't have anything green that powerful (don't think anything but a 6* Frog Prince could hit it...Midas too, and I'm working on that), and my only red thing that could is Belle, and she wouldn't benefit from the burst of the Charming/Elf ability combo so those thresholds are higher in practice anyway.

The weakest link in general is the damn elf, and I have Mountain Dwarf leveled and ready to evolve, but the lack of any link recovery would probably seal the deal (Elf Lord's shitty stats are outweighed by his burst ability when it comes to a boss fight of that length).

Now, I plan to replace Snow White with Midas when I get him, which will definitely make a difference, but it sure won't double my damage or even increase it by half. I just don't see a solution that doesn't involve monored or at least both Aladdin and Merlin.

Tried and got blown up (same with a 70-something 6* Merlin). I've used him well for other things, though.

    Pop quiz!

    I have a 4star beast, but he's maxed out. Can't evolve to 5star
    I have a 3star beast I just got. Lvl 1.
    I have a 4star belle. She's maxed for 4star, but can evolve to 5star.

Is it worth leveling and evolving my 3star beast? Is there a decent chance chance I can evolve to 5star?

And what are the chances of evolving to 6star? Is that possible for anything? Or just special characters?

    Friend questions...
How do we determine those friend tokens you get?
And what does actually having someone as a friend do?

I have a 4star belle as a team lead. Does that just let others choose her or does it give me a benefit as well? Would it be better to have my 5star rose red as lead?

Can you have bad friends? Like someone who never logs on? How would you tell?

I'm guessing that using a friends leader nets you and the friend 20 tokens?!

Personally I think rose red is the better leader from a friend perspective. The crit chance boost is nice, and I don't see many rose reds to pick from
