Of course, Merlin would be available this week with me having wasted a total of 25 stones....hahahaha
Thank you I came here to find out what exactly those "neutral" fairys were for. I do agree that the gems could be less...if it was five for 1.99 even, I'd probably buy them, but at 4.99 for six...that's not in the sweet spot of a gamer's impulse buy range. I'm sure they'd make more cash with an adjustment My ref is 94JehpSME9 if anyone still needs one. If there's an exchange board somewhere, can someone point me towards it?
What is the content/rewards of the Dark Lair-Heroic version of the Tuesday Tomb of the Dragons quest? Not sure I can beat it so thought I'd ask before I spend 30AP. Thanks edit; nevermind just found the answer on the wiki http://blueteagames-fa.wikia.com/wiki/Special_Quests
The main thing is that you get a guaranteed Dragon Skull, but not guarantee on what specifically drops, or appears. So you could run six times needing a Water Dragon Skull and get nothing but Fire Dragon Skulls. That said, it's a better drop rate than the others, so... go for it!
Thanks for reminding me that I need to record some of the boss numbers (estimated HP, and damage/timer) for the wiki. What's your box look like now? Might be able to help you put together a team.
Thank you, I would definitely appreciate more advice. My lineup has improved a bit from last time but not substantially. Sorted by Element: 5* Frog Prince (L60) 5* Princess Ivy (L56) 4* Green Marksman (L50) 4* Robin Hood (L50) 4* Water Mage (L48) 4* Raiding Pirate (L40) 3* Water Elf Lord (L35) 2* Blue Archer (L1) 4* Princess Briar Rose (L50) 3* Fire Enchantress (L40) 3* Sea Captain (L40) 3* Fire Squire (L40) 3* Beast (L35) 3* Fire Brute (L1) I haven't been able to level up all the 4*s because of the Tuesday drop snafu last week. Just don't have the dragon horns.
Yeah, I stopped buying rare draws too (as I mentioned a few pages ago, I used to buy one a day as a reward for not smoking). I saved up all of last week's and bought them on the last day of the sale (spent over 50 stones), and all I got was another Queen Rapunzel I already had and lots of cannon fodder. And the week before where I saved up earned stone and spent lots of them I got three Big Bad Wolfs... which I also already had. That doesn't feel worth it at all and more like the rip-off most other IAP games are doing. Seems like this was the first and last game I spent money on IAPs (not including IAP that buys the full version of games or extra levels or stuff, of course).
The dragon boss is a Dark dragon who hits for about 9-10k, I believe he runs on a 4 turn counter. Your Nature team might be able to do it, with the mix of Ivy and Frog, if you can get a good bonus from a friend. If you get another Ivy/Frog or Thrushbeard friend, the damage increase could probably get you through it, assuming you're not orb trolled with no hearts. If you don't have a ton of links, I would suggest pushing your way through the normal storyline books in order to to get more link. Make sure you're running Guardian of the Books as much as you can, which will help you get more levels in. Try to get it so you run out of stamina just as you rank up from it, which will give you more runs. (Each run = 1k XP, so if you have 20-40 stamina, run it when you're less than 1k away from ranking up, 40-60 stamina, run it when you're 2k, etc) Rank farming with the Legendary Fable quests, once you can run Hard on them, will be your best way of ranking up, each run of Hard gives like 15k XP, and loads of XP books for the Legendary Fable's element. And don't be afraid to say, "Yeah, I need another week or so of grinding". It's a mobile game. Progress doesn't have to be super fast. I'm in a grinding/normal story mode mood right now, after I failed pretty hard at the latest Legendary and Special Fable quests. And remember that adding levels to some heroes is more effective than others... but that you might reach a point where one level on Ivy is equal to six or seven on another Hero, and that might be more stats overall. Check out before you spend your XP, and see what you can do. If you have >10k HP and plenty of link (maybe ~80-100), you should try the Heroic one. Otherwise, I'd suggest sticking with Hard. (Also, BTG, I need to run the numbers this weekend to be sure, but I am fairly sure that running the Hard dungeon for the weekends nets you more money than the Heroic dungeon. Heroic dungeon needs either a buff to $$$, or a nerf to difficulty. Preferably the buff to $$$)
This is an interesting game and I fully agree with others there is no way I am spending money at the current price for gems, way to inflated. Would like to support the devs but I like some perceived value in what I spend especially considering the high likelihood of bad draws. I have been playing a week now and am starting to get the hang of it but I am also finding that not all Hard missions were created equally. I have tried several times but can't beat the mountain dwarf one on hard but can do most others. Also after 8 times on normal no luck getting him. I also see so many good characters but generally have very poor luck with draws so even after saving all my gems for the last lot of queens at 300% increase ended up with not much. I haven't been able to evolve many characters yet as still collecting materials. I have been visiting the Wiki, so thanks to whoever put that together I also really want King Thrushbeard as he would be a solid addition but just need 3 more referrals and have run out of options. My code is aHMadxc52x (Please any referrals to help me get him would be much appreciated) My current lineup is: Warlord Lvl50 - water (Captain at the moment) Constable of Nottingham Lvl50 - earth Jack Lvl50 - earth Flame Enchantress Lvl 47 - fire My bench doesn't have much and almost all at lvl 1 but is Nature Squire lvl33 - earth Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire Alchemist Beast, Elite Warrior Fire and Nature Brute Nature Enchantress Sea Captain Siren Maiden Wood and Frost Mage Blue Ranger Robin Hood Being patient but any tips would be appreciated Cheers
Jack + Constable + Siren + Robin Hood should make a decent Nature team, at least until you start getting more drops and Oracle rolls. Monocolor teams are pretty much the way to go until you get into the really hard content. You get the best boosts from HP % increases and power increases from them. Edit: For that, as soon as possible, evolve Jack. Linkmakers like him are incredibly useful overall. Substitute Constable for a Nature Enchantress if you need help beating the appropriate Lair, as you need a Nature Dragon Skull to evolve him. The rest of the evo dungeons should be beaten fairly easily by that team.
Unfortunately I'm at the same point where I was last week because I had farmed enough to level up the 3s and now everyone is maxed. I hit a wall on Merlin because the strength of my crew is green and I can't put out enough DPS to survive the bosses on Merlin.
Many thanks for the feedback. It is interesting as I thought Jack was good but one of my weaker main ones and I was going multicolour to take advantage of all matches. I look forward to trying out this new team approach and seeing how it goes. Luckily I already have a few nature dragon skulls as weren't hard to get with my main team above. I thought Friday's green sacred lotus, which I also need, would be the hardest to get as its a heroic mission and I am not sure I am ready for that yet. Really sux that when you lose a mission you lose the stamina and get absolutely nothing for it. Doesn't encourage testing your strengths.
Hi all, Just started playing yesterday and love this game. May i know where to get more details on those cards and their power/abilities? And also, how can i get 8 referral to get the card (have read the first few pages). Thx...
Hi the place I go to get information is the Wiki at http://blueteagames-fa.wikia.com/wiki/Special_Quests Also the only way I know of to get 8 referrals is 8 different unique devices need to install the game for the first time and when the tutorial is completed and they ask for a referral code, your code needs to be entered. Deleting the game and reinstalling on a device does not reset the referral as it is linked to device ID. Hope that answers your question
Thx for the reply. 8 diff devices... I'm already half way thru the 1st book...it's ok then...am sure there's some other better ones out there
Thank you all, we do read over every comment and incorporate suggestions when needed. Toucharcade fans, here's an exclusive sneak peak of a few of the new heroes in our next big update: Thanks for your continual support!
Thats good to know and they look good. Hopefully the rare draw isn't the only way to get them otherwise I will have to admire them from afar. I really can't count on my luck :-(
Looks like a Blue Merlin. Guess he's gonna be Fable Age's version of Odin in Puzzle & Dragon? I'm totally throwing shots in the dark, but I think the first one (Team leader) would be Jaffar or Genie from the Arabian Knights / Aladdin lore. Next one is either Blue Merlin or some sort of Ice Wizard, pretty sure it'l be Merlin. The Green Queen (assuming) looks interesting, she might be part of a new series. Don't really know what she might be. Same goes for the other two. They look barbarian/nordic, maybe? Although the next to last guy? Kind of looks like he's blonde and dressing up as a viking. But maybe it's just me.
The last one is almost certainly Quasimodo. And the Green Queen may be Dorothy. Remember, we got a bit of a preview as to names, elements, and ranks of some of the new heroes with the Fairy mix-up several people had in the rare draw (including FableGod). Other than that, though, I have no idea. You're right that that looks like a blue version of Merlin, which is interesting. Oh, and that second-to-last one does not look blonde--he looks like he's wearing a gold headdress. Blonde with a dark brown mustache/beard is rather uncommon.
