I've bought the HD version and haven't started it yet due to the fact Real Racing 3 is still kicking my butt on a daily basis ever since I downloaded the NZ version. Nothing seems to get in it's way.
The fact that I bought and downloaded this is already quite something for that matter, so consider that huge compliment.

    However.

Now I've felt hesitant to give it a go in between Real Racing 3 sessions now that I read some impractical game design choices from frustrated players that have now reached level 7 by now.
I have to agree with SumoSplash that there is a thin line between a challenge and making a player aggravated by no end due to strange game design choices.

The Normal mode options SumoSplash suggested sound a lot more like the experience I hoped to start having in the initial release.
I'll hold off and leave it there until it gets updated so that I get the initial experience in a positive way right off the back.

Whew ok beat finaly beat this game just now (first on TA to do so?), good for 3rd in total points leaderboard. Last boss was pretty brutal as was the previous level. Great to see a difficult game with no iap tho and while I think an easier mode is a good idea, I applaud the design as is.

I'm saying if this was any other group: blacks, Muslims, Hispanics, abortion doctors, gay people, that you were shooting etc... You'd hear some rightly justified complaints, but now some how because a segment of the population worked hard and were successful they are evil and it's ok that we kill them...no I don't take things too seriously, but at the same time, this is how it started with the Jews, they were made out by politicians and the media to be evil, then it was ok to make fun of them in cartoons, then it was ok to take their stuff, then we know what eventually happened. Will that happen here, I doubt it, I'm not wearing a tin foil hat, but at the same time I think this crap isn't even remotely funny beyond a 1st grader mentality and yes it is offensive because by default it's offensive it is literally any other group, so yeah...

Do me a favor and replace 1% with black, gay or Muslim see how long before your app is pulled and everyone is in an uproar, then come back and tell me it's ok it's tongue n's check humor.

    Thank you for that :)

Imagine you weight 250 pounds and have to jump 8'' high. That would surely take some energy, right? :) The point of temporarily taking energy was to avoid that players just kept jumping around to avoid all damage. This way you need to time your jumps and quickly think what you're going to do next. After a while, muscle memory kicks in.

Regarding the cheap attacks, I'll tweak them through difficulty levels, but they're not that cheap. If you're aligned with a vamp, you should be able to strike it directly way before it strikes you. Of course, if the vamp has loads of energy or is approaching you diagonally, then that's a problem... for you :)
I'll tweak through difficulty levels, by changing the jump distance of vampires according to the set difficulty level.

In the next content update I'll also save the game from room to room.

Thank you for all your input. Fangz will be better because of you.

Ok. Next week I'll start working on a quick update for a couple of bugs I found. After I'll start working on the first content update and I'll get in touch with you. Thanks for your support.

Ok. I accept all your suggestions with just one difference. What you call normal mode will be something below normal (I won't call it easy, because it won't be). I need to do this, because I'm also adding a hard mode (yes, some people asked for it).

Congratulations! You got to see me in the end :D And did you like to hear my daughter sing?

    Thanks for playing Fangz!

That's a very strong point you have here and a great solution to these so called "bunny hoppers".
(Oh man, they used to drive me crazy in multiplayer FPS games to no end.)

    Fantastic! Cannot wait! :D

I understand your points, but the point of associating the 1% with vampires was to make a parody out of it, not to incite to violence.

Even if someone is a fervent 1% hater, after playing this game they'll have blown some steam out, lived out part of their fantasies, and won't actually do anything about it.

I look at games as an art form, and as with all art forms they tend to reflect whatever goes around in society. And nowadays there's definitely some ill feelings towards the 1%. I won't comment on the whys of those feelings or whether I find them justifiable or not. I merely took those feelings and made a game out of it.

In the end, it's a game, it's not real life, it allows you to play what if scenarios in a couch, and it's fun.

Downloaded it today like I said earlier in the week. Honestly, the game is even better than I thought it would be. It's a good mix of fun, challenge, humor, and beauty. I'm having a really great time with it. Thanks for this, games like this are getting me back into IOS.

In regards to losing health when you jump... I see why you did this, to make it so players could not jump around endlessly. Two points... One, I think it would make more sense if this affected only stamina, which could be represented by a stamina bar not included in your health bar. Right now, stamina and health are the same. Also, if a player were to jump around endlessly, they would eventually be overtaken by the enemies. I also don't see why anyone would choose to do this, considering this is a game where you have to shoot, a lot, and you can't advance to the next round without doing so. If you were able to jump around endlessly, you would eventually get bored, or just physically tired of pushing the jump button over and over. The jump mechanic is no big deal to me even though I am referring to it a lot. Personally, I want to kill the enemies, not dance around them.

You commented on the angled attacks, and I am finding that this is exactly what I am finding cheap. As I am going to shoot an enemy in front of me, I am often simultaneously attacked by an enemy coming in from an angle. When this happens, I have no way to shoot both, at least with my current weapons (maybe this will change as I go farther in). This is what I find cheap: no way to defend against a simultaneous attack, and an enemy can attack me from an angle, but I can't do anything to attack them until I am on their plane.

Ok, I am now on the subway. So you're supposed to kill all the vampires within a certain amount of time, 100 vampires within 1:45 to be exact. The board doesn't say this, but you have to move to the right to get the vampires to come towards you at the highest rate possible. My speed is upgraded to at least 4 and I don't stop for any drops at all. I have done this level 10 times in a row and I am left with at least 10 zombies to kill every single time. How is one supposed to beat this? A better question, how is it possible to make this harder when there isn't enough time to finish it now?

EDIT: The only way I can see to beat this is to go and upgrade my speed, so I can approach the waves of vampires more quickly. However, I just used my upgrades right before I came into this level. Even if I were able to go into the shop at this very moment, I can't reconfigure my stats to increase my speed anyway.

I think intolerance, and predisposition to thinking that others must work to change their perception to closer match our own, are far larger problems.

Actually I made two posts, now three today about a 99 cent game and the hypocrisy of liberals who do this kind of crap. Other than that, I taught an initial licensed class of reactor operators, ran the simulator for a bit, and then came home took my dog for a walk, ate with my wife and twin daughters who are now sixteen, and will probably chill out for a bit with the wife on our patio. Tomorrow, I'll have the day off get paid including my 10 grand cert bonus, make a payment on my girls junior year Europe trip, and take my wife out for our anniversary. So yeah I'll get a life, what you it going on?I'd say the problem with this planet is demonizing anyone who works hard and wanting handouts from the government because we have a ton of adults who still need mommy to take care of them. Not some guy complaining about a 99 cent games description.

No, the biggest problem at this moment is the difficulty imbalance of this title. I just got to the end of the subway and died again with two zombies left to kill, after 15 tries.

    I mean, really?

I beat it on my third go. You just need to keep moving forward at all times, shotgun works wonders. Play survival and buff your speed a little if necessary, or go back and play previous campaign levels.

I'm conservative and I don't find this in any way offensive. I really do think you need to lighten up.

I beat it, with zero seconds left, on my 16th try. No, I won't be going to any other modes to grind so I can beat another mode of the game. That's just not an option.

Then Diablo, any MMORPG and any JRPG are most certainly not for you.
