Still confused with the 2 versions. If they both are retina enabled, why would either version look better than the other on an iPhone 5? I understand the difference if using an iPad 4, but won't the smaller file size version look the same as the larger file size version on an iPhone 5?

Ok, this make total sense. Over this side of the pond we're much less sensitive to these issues but that sentence is way too obvious like you said.

    iPhone retina = 1136 pixels x 640 pixels
    iPad 3/4 retina = 2048 pixels x 1536 pixels

There's a world of difference on the iPad. A bit less but still noticeable on the iPhone/iPod.

Honestly, I don't feel like the game is too politically charged. I agree with sumo splash about switching the tips to just gameplay and stuff like "you bought fangs, we love you" :)

That 'the9quad' guy was way out of line a couple pages back. . . If anybody is really that offended, they could just pretend the lawyers are realotors, contractors, store clerks, mechanics, restaurant employees, or any other business/service that cost you money.

Ok. As long as either version gets me full retina on my iphone 5 I'll just go with the lower file size. I have no plans on getting a retina iPad anytime soon, so wouldn't see any benefit from the iPad version...

It seems most people are making that decision and that reminds me I need to ask you all a favour:

Please leave reviews in the app store, particularly for the smaller version, since it's the one higher up the rank.

    I won't beg.

    I lied. I'll beg.

    Pllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssseeeeee!

Haha, make no mistake: the game is politically charged. However, it's put to good use as it serves as inspiration for the creative process. It's when those views spill out into other places, like tip screens, that it becomes too much.

Alex, what exactly makes the ax do the spin around attack after the first attack? Is it a double tap? I just bought the ax and I'm wondering if it has any other swing-type attacks as it is upgraded. If not, it would be cool to see that--a slice attack after the spin attack maybe to turn it into a three hit combo.

Great game. Only thing bugging the hell outta me is the in game music. There are a couple of games I have had previously that use the same exact track and I can't remember what they are. Anyone else have any idea?

Edit: Finally remembered one of the games with the same music: A Monster Ate My Homework... Was driving me wacky trying to figure out where I heard it before. There is at least one other app that I've had that also uses it, but doubt it'll come to me...

I really like this game ( have given 5 stars on App Store) just think its a little odd that it has a time limit to get to the end but the game stops you from going forward until you clear the screen. And when your time runs out you just die. Almost enough to put me off....almost. Apart from this #

So it's zombieville with vampires instead of zombies, skip.

Hell no. That would be severely underselling it, ofc it's very much in the same genre and familiar, but IMHO beats zombieville in every department. Main differences are a non-formulaic campaign with each level hosting differences, graphics and presentation with far more soul, life and humour and much more impact and substance to the weapons (seriously, the mini gun is fecking awesome).

I guess it's going to appear like a zombieville clone upon first inspection (made the same assumption myself) but there's more to it than that, for me, it's the new benchmark of iOS sidescrollers.

Ha :), id been there for ages.

Good news is that once you get those last 7 feet you'll open up a few more levels with a bit more ease.

Zombieville 2 is better in some aspects and this is better than Zombieville 2 in some aspects. I wouldn't skip either title if you are a fan of this genre.

Just maxed out all the stats, I'm assuming there will be more stats to fill when an update drops?

    The Plasma Gun KICKS ASS.

So, a general weapon comparison (mainly in terms of fun factor) from Fangz to Zombieville 2:

    Minigun vs. Minigun: Equal.
Machine Gun vs. Assault Rifle and/or Dual Uzis: Better in Zombieville 2.
Shotgun vs. Shotguns: Equal, although I think the shotgun in Fangz is more effective.
Pistol vs. Pistol: Better in Zombieville 2, since they turn into dual pistols.
    Revolver vs. Magnum: Equal.
    Flamethrower vs. Flamethrower: Equal.
Bazooka vs RPG: Better in Zombieville 2, but this is close.
Plasma Gun vs. Teals Gun: Better in Fangz. Being able to move around with the Plasma Gun is a huge plus. I
wish that you were able to move with both the Tesla Gun and Sniper Rifle.

All Melee Weapons, all melee attack are far superior in Fangz. The melee in fangs is as fun as the regular combat weapons. Jumping melee attacks are also a plus.
Zombieville 2 has more weapons available, including grenades, stun weapons and land mines. The combination system is better in Zombieville, meaning you can stun and then attack.
