Great post. The game looks stunning, but i'm worried about the controls. I would personally prefer a d-pad in these type of games, always works well. Like you say devs often talk about the 'iphones strengths' but sometimes just touch/swipe in certain games isnt good. Will this have an option for a d-pad ?
price and estimated hours to complete the game? is there a skill tree? does the items change the characters look? are there cities with shops to visit? is there an open world or are there different levels ?
Between this and Mage Gauntlet, it looks to be a good week for RPGs! Any word on pricing / file size? (I'm a behind-the-times owner of an 8 GB iPod 2G so, unfortunately, size matters).
Hey guys. We're really excited that Fara only comes out in a few days! ( 10/21/11 ) Hopefully I can answer a few questions: -The game is a little over 26 MBs and runs well on all iOS devices. -Fara will have a special launch only price of .99 -The game world in Fara is large and there are side quests, leaderboards and Game Center achievements in addition to the main quest, so game length is difficult to estimate. I can say, though, that our game is focused on combat and exploration, so expect to see new areas, rather than grind on enemies in the same small area for the entire game. Hope this info helps!
Wow, this game just gets better and better. Definitely good competition for Mage Gauntlet and excellent news for buyers. Awesome sale, awesome file size, and no doubt an awesome game. Can't wait.

Great info! Looks like I'll definately be picking this and Mage Gauntlet up! With my limitations, it's rare to see two games (particularly two RPGs) I want that are both decent and size and price in one week! The graphics and physics take in this definately set it apart. Can't wait to give it a try!
Yep, just heard of this and I think I will buy this with Mage Gauntlet as well. As an old school RPG player of yore those games really get to me.
