Price Point What do you think the price of this game will be? I would guess $6-$7, based on the current App Store economy.
I'm not sure if it would survive at a price to high. I am not going to say what price it should be but I'm sure they know what price to put with all the experience uder their belt
Thomas, the screen shots look great. I think I have enough of these between GBA NDS and various consoles to open a library. Favorite type of RPG genre. I'll be looking out for this.
Pocketgamer already stated in a sub-headline that this is an "Expensive time traveller". They react to the reported $9.99 price-tag which is found here: http://bit.ly/1020nv Hi Paul, thank you very much. Awesome! What is your favourite *lesser-known* game, if there is any? cheers!
Let me answer this question It is based on one of the 4 most famous Chinese classics (novels): - Outlaws of the Marsh The other 3 ones are: - Story of the Stone - Romance of the Three Kingdoms - Journey to the West BTW, this game sounds and looks very impressive. Wish it will sell great! (Bobby Carrot is one of the best mobile game series all time, although it has never showed up in the top 100 selling list.) Keep up the good job!
probably Etryian Odyssey 1 and 2. Pretty difficult and they require a lot of grinding, but satisfying overall. But games like Golden Sun 1 and 2, the Chrono games still far outshine. Oh, Suikoden too. Do you have some favorites?
didn't know you liked goldun sun pluto, though etryian odyssey took a while for me to finally get into it.
Yeah , I am embarrased to admit it, but Golden Sun 1 and 2 are some of the few (maybe 15-20?) Rpg that I have actually finished. Once I get 40-50 hours in, I usually start something else. Keep in mind that I am a completionists nut, so much of that time is doing all possible side quests, and every possible upgrade, plus level grinding.
Same here (that I am a completionist) had to get every single...forgot what those critters were called. Took me probably 150+ to get every ending and item creation on Star Ocean (I love tri-ace games)
I never got really into Star Ocean. Don't know why, it should have been a no brainer. The STP preview says this one has a lot of side quests, and hopefuuly will have a lot of collection, customization, etc.
I'm really hoping for the customization option such as classes, weapons, and skills. And how come, Which one did you try? Also ever try radiatia stories.
Oh yes, I like these too. Got EO 1 just because Yuzo Koshiro did the soundtrack I haven´t finished the game, though. From the lesser known games I also enjoyed Neutopia 1+2 (Pc-Engine), Rolans Course (old GB). From the better known I love Grandia, Star Ocean, Ys, Tales of Symphonia (besides FinalFantasy, Zelda, .. of course ) There are no selectable classes in Across Age. It´s the classic approach where you have a pre-defined character & class to play through the story (in this case 2 characters), similar to e.g. Zelda or FF Adventure. You can find neat items/weapons, though and of course there are special skills coming with their main abilities (weapon/magic skills) that can be upgraded. edit: 1st gameplay video from Across Age is coming soon. cheers!
oh, it was based on 4 novels? i always thought it was based on 1 legend... where do they have this 108 character idea from? and yes, across age will definitely look great in action!
i actually meant where or from which novel the SUIKODEN guys did take the idea of the 108 characters. sorry, my post was a bit misleading... 8)
