Whoa.... 2 more days? Well, I'll still be interested then, but in the mean time if I don't get it will not be able to play or post any great comments. Now I have to think if it is better just to get the game and play it, or wait... hmmm... Why do you give me such a conundrum???
5 star review left on UK app store and richly deserved. It's 3.20am here in the UK, I need to go to bed and it's your game that has kept me up. I'll be blaming you in the morning when my wife asks why I am so tired
Right, forced myself to turn my iPod off, must go to bed. Goodnight (or just one more go....???). No, bed!! See you tomorrow
Reminds me of Mouse About (although the rules are a bit different)... And probably a less stressful and cuter version of it And yes, I'm definitely interested in the game
Great feedback thanks! I'm the main developer behind Fling (and Fuzzle), so since Tatuman is asleep now and I'm up, I'm catching up on the discussion and will answer some of the questions now .... Firstly, the positive feedback here is really encouraging Thanks ian1969uk for all your encouraging comments. So yeah, like Tatuman said, the idea, when a puzzle is re-solved in free-play mode, of noting how the new solve time compares with your first/best time, so you can challenge a friend to beat your time, is something we didn't think of - we should be able to add a pop-up when a puzzle is solved for the second/third etc times showing how the time taken compares to your best time on that puzzle (similar to how it does in challenge mode for the level). So we have an update which we'll submit hopefully today with a bunch of improvements made while the original version was being approved, but then the update after that we plan to do based on user feedback, so any further suggestions are really welcome. We also could for example allow you to challenge a friend by giving them a puzzle-id which they could enter into the game (if they're playing on their own device) if thats something people would find useful. We're really interested in moving this game in whatever direction the users want in terms of further features - we're still making adjustments to Fuzzle based on what we find users to prefer and plan to continue improving Fling continually the same way. So all suggestions+questions welcome
Regarding question how the levels are created - yeah we generated 10,000's of puzzles randomly, but then tuned (based on playing and re-generating and playing+testing again ...) how the puzzles are assigned to the 19 different levels so that each level is getting a little bit harder, and tuned so that there's as much variation of different puzzles as possible
And just to let you know that the Promo code draw is still on, and to participate just tell us that you are interested in trying Fling!
Been playing some more this morning and my views stand, this is one of the best puzzle games I have, it's nice quick levels and addictive gameplay are perfect for me. Will you plan to add any new themes, like the Christmas theme in Fuzzle? Giving users choice (like in Cookie Pop) is never a bad thing, and I wouldn't have thought you would have too much tweaking to do to the gameplay with it being so good as it stands. I do like the way the challenge mode shows you the time limit for the level and also your own best time, so adding that to other modes would be great.
Yeah, more themes are one idea ... for the moment we're going to focus on improving the current theme, we have a few ideas to do some more cool stuff with the furry balls ...
I keep playing this awsome game and I have a feeling Ill be playing for a long long time lol.... I really love this game ... This is a MUST BUY.
A word about the devs. I bought Fuzzle when it came out. They continued to improve the game through-out it's life. I imagine the same with happen with Fling. I would encourage you to try BOTH games. I'm getting Fling right now. If you like puzzles... this is it. Hey dev, see if you can work in Multi-Player... that would be killer! I'm off to the AppStore now.... (diving in...again!)
