A little feedback on the app - just left a review. I was able to convert DVDs that I own for viewing on my iPad. The software is easy to use. Just load a disk or open a set of files, choose the format you want, and let it rip. I did have an issue when I asked it to create chapters and merge into one file. The result had the chapters in scrambled order. Since I don't really need chapters for watching on the iPad, I just redid the DVD conversion and it came out nicely without issue. I was able to load it up and watch it on the iPad. Nice video and the audio synced well. The developer was responsive to questions, as well. Overall, very solid app!
Ah, after talking with the dev, you don't need to select the title and chapters to convert. It should be one or the other. What happened when both were selected was that the chapters weren't scrambled, but the video was replicated just over 2 times, making a very large file with what seemed like video out of order. That said, I've tried just converting only certain chapters and it doesn't do that correctly, at least for me. It does convert the whole disk correctly, and does it well, so if you get this s/w, definitely stick with just ripping the whole disk for now. It definitely works great for that.
