    Ever considered getting the game on Mac? Through Steam, FTL is usually discounted to a few bucks during the big sales.

    Honestly I think it would be really hard to make it work on such a tiny screen. You'd have to scroll a lot, pinch even more and it just wouldn't be the same.

    Yeah... PC gaming... way too many games to play on my iPhone to have more...

    Yeah I seen a couple of videos and would be really hard to fit that for sure, but hope is always there :)

    (again and again) Define: "soon"...

    I wrote elsewhere and think "soon" have been misused quite heavily lately. It is bad expectation management. I think Apple has a practice of how long it takes to review/approval an app so there should be an expected time line.

    I miss what people used to say "submitted to Apple".

    This also applied some what to Heartstone as well.

    Info & pics from the PR

    Copied directly from their PR (the only "but" I see here is that PC & iPad savegames are not compatible):

    FTL: Faster Than Light is a PC Indie Game released on September 14th, 2012.
    It has received numerous awards including 2013’s IGF’s Best Design & Audience Award and the Game Developer’s Choice Awards Best Studio Debut.

    We'll be releasing FTL on the iPad on April 3rd. Here is some info about the upcoming app:
    - It is the full and complete PC game with no ads or In-App-Purchases and will be priced the same as the PC version at $10.
    - It will run on all version 2 and later iPads. It will not be available for version 1 iPads and will not be available on iPhones.
    - Its UI is completely redesigned for touch control optimization.
    - It includes the new Advanced Edition free expansion which will release for PC at the same date.
    - It is only available in English for the time being.
    - It is unable to connect to PC versions of the game to share the same save game or profile data.

    The FTL: Advance Edition expansion is free for all FTL players and will simultaneously launch alongside the iPad version on April 3rd. It includes:
    -New Content
    --- An entirely new playable ship and race, the Lanius;
    --- 10 new playable ship layouts;
    --- 4 new Systems & Subsystems that drastically change gameplay;
    --- Over 15 new weapons & drones and 11 new ship Augmentations.
    --- New music from Ben Prunty and new events from writer Tom Jubert and guest writer Chris Avellone.
    --- Tons of other new content and gameplay tweaks and polish.
    - It will automatically update on Steam for all players
    - All DRM free editions (from our website or GOG.com) will require downloading the game again through the same method as originally downloaded.
    - If anyone has lost their purchase email from our website use the Key Resender to get another email - https://www.humblebundle.com/store/keyresender

    FTL is created by Subset Games - primarily Matthew Davis and Justin Ma.
    - iPad programming - Andrew Church
    - Music and sound - Ben Prunty
