It's really quite good! Later on you get your second ship and you get to outfit it from scratch, which I found incredibly interesting. All the different parts you can change really change the stats and it's very strategic.

Also, I just beat an enemy ship a lot better than my own, with stronger weapons and longer range, and damn what a thrill ride that was. This is where the game shines, not when you're fighting enemies within your own advancement.

    Verdict so far: definitely good.
I still need to play a lot more before I can reach a final verdict...

    Edit:
See, you'd think I would remember to equip something as crucial as a shield to my new ship, but nooooo.

i found it pretty easy to make money, but then i come from playing x2 and x3, where the game is really hard to make money, lol. memories of spending days of just trading silicon chips between a few sectors, lol

No free roam is very disappointing to hear. Oh well, might still buy.

    Alright, here's the deal:

This game is amazing. If you don't expect Galaxy on Fire 2.

Seriously, it's a different game, and it's a great one.

Interesting ship designs, remind me of Dead Space. Rockin' environments. More info?
