just came back from ufc 101fs and just saw the new vieo of modern combat and i like it but its got a little glare kiado
the video sure was suprising huh.....suprisingly good! this belongs on my phone already....when i type that...i realize video games have come a LONG way.haha it looked a lot better than the first video....er a lot smoother anyway. it does look like a mini COD(which is probably the only first person shooters i enjoy) i think it just has something to do with the "reality" of it all....you know...instead of being in space er what have you...shootin down aliens/monsters. i dont know....i just like the COD type ones haha despite what i just said.....i also cant wait for you know...."FPS".....damn gameloft and ng:moco! why do they have to come up with such awesome games?haha modern combat:sandstorm......is definitly lookin sweeter and sweeter. they tricked us with the whole submitting thing huh....
What about the whole "it's already been submitted" wtf? lol. And the controls don't sound to mind blowing either. Dragging your thumb to free look and then reaching over to hit the fire button? C'mon gameloft
The controls are perfect. Just like BIA and TS. I just hope there is a sensitivity slider for the looking around. The video shows the guy having to keep on moving his finger back and forth to get the screen to turn all the way around. I like just having very high sensitivity.

Gameloft? No way! OK, wait a minute...who really made this game? I mean this game looks to have smooth, intuitive controls and great graphics/framerate so there is no way this could be a Gameloft game...right? Anyway, being an owner of many Gameloft titles I have tempered expectations but I have to admit that this recent video has me very optimistic for this game!! Also, to answer the quesions about the arrows at the bottom of the screen...those look to be used for taking cover and other actions maybe?? I noticed a few times in the video that an icon would appear between the arrows and he mentions a cover system. I wonder if when you are in cover if we see a 3rd person view ala BIA/TS??
1. This is by gameloft and gameloft does make games with good controlls (BiA) and Graphics (TS) 2. In about 5:30 min you can see that the camera stays in 1.st person view when taking cover!
