You definitely have a point, because if it applies to the game, dual-stick controls are by far my favorite control scheme. But i'm not really sure a second "shoot" analog stick would work for this game.

BTW, what are the controls gonna be?

The video doesn't really make that clear...

It doesn't make it clear!

To me, it seems pretty clear, move around with that joy stick, tap to fire. Probably swipe to zoom in with two fingers.

Jump icons would probably appear when you need to jump (near a wall etc.)

What i meant is what you already touched on.. Zooming, jumping, etc.

I already knew that the basic control scheme (stick + shoot button) was like BIA.

The game has not been submitted to the AppStore yet, as far as I know.

You'd better change the title of the thread...

Apparently Gameloft's twitter says it has been submitted (haven't checked it myself yet).
Why does the title of the thread need changing though?

The Gameloft US twitter was referring to another game, I think.

Nope, I'm 100% sure that they were talking about sandstorm. Also, why would the title of the thread need to be changed, it doesn't say anything about submission?

Again, keep the high hopes low guys for this game.

It´s just as BIA but then first person. Remember it's gameloft and that can't be too good.

    This post makes no sense.
From what I can understand from it, you don't like Gameloft?
Do you even have an iPhone or iPod Touch, lol?
What is wrong with Gameloft? They have made some great games over the past?

    Let me clearify myself

i do own an iphone 3g in fact i'm writing this on my device
    i do like good games

what i don't like about big game company's sych as gameloft is the lack off ambition. For them, gamea are nothing more then products wich means $ or €. Off course, every game company wants that but IMHO opinion it doesn't affect the game as much like it does with titles froM gameloft. At first sight, their games looks polished and stuff, but the appeal really floats away very fast. Count the fact that they almost never update their gamea with content maybe due the fact that they think they are finished. It's more like; hey you want a certain feature? Go buy our next game! That part i dislike the most.

Take firemint or ngmoco for example. Big game company's as well and they DO keep supporting their games. Good example of how it should be on this platform. Don't get me wrong, most of the apps in the appstore are bad compared to their titles but a little more heart for their titles and aiming less for gaps to fill in for missing genres for this platform would stand gameloft nice!

I see what you are saying, but you must be in the minority.
Judging from their success and large amounts of fans on the TA forums (including myself), I would say that they are one of the best and most popular developers who produce a nice variety of console-like games.
Think what you want to think though, Gameloft isn't for everyone.

True, but you know just as i that the large fanbase they have is mainly due the fact that they are copying console type of games to the idevices. Not in a bad way off course but a good example shows asphalt 4 against real racing or real football 09 against x2 football. See my point? It's just the fact they want to make quick money by filling gaps that bites the dust. By lack of any better...

But we'll see. I'm going to buy gangstar for sure and maybe also this title and i'll hope it has more game modes then the story because more then 3 hours Of playtime it wouldn't give it and playing the story mode again and again gets boring pretty fast. But that
s my feeling about this game and again i'm hoping to be wrong.

this is one of the things I was thinking about the other day. Iphone and itouch owners are the worst customers i have ever seen. A dev gives the privilege to be able to talk directly to him on here and loads of people demand features and changes. Updates are given for free and people demand that tonnes of new content should be given in these updates. On 360 and ps3 you pay for content updates. You pay more for them then you do a single ipod game.

There's no hiding the fact that Gameloft games are popular.
Their positive reviews, their good ratings, their good positions in top tens etc.
I understand everything that you are saying and it's fine with me that people like yourself and Vinnie don't like gameloft games and choose not to buy them.
But please don't go around trying to put people off them (*cough* Vinnie). You are only wasting your time, people will buy whatever the hell they want to buy so leave them alone and if you don't like a game, you don't have to go around telling everyone not to buy the game. Just leave it and move on.

Dude I totally agree, us iPhone/itouch owners whine but in some cases we are better off than console gamers. Now I'm a console gamer too, but for some reason I always play my itouch. All I have to say is, gameloft is beast and I hope this game is epic which Im sure it will be.

We wouldn't be complaining for updates if the game came out polished right? Most console games go through numerous layers of polish, then get released. Most iPhone games come out with mediocre content and mediocre effort. That's the problem with the App Store, not because everyone complains/whines for updates.
