From the videos and other information, so far I think it will be quite similar to GTA 3, but less similar to Vice City & San Andreas.
wow........i don't know if I wanna spend that much (like $10) for something that looks like a gta clone. it's cool that gameloft is putting effort into this game, but couldn't they have done something more original?
I don't. I'll tell you what. The FIRST TIME I have ever played an actual Grand Theft Auto game was GTA 4, a week ago, at a friend's house, on PS3, for about a half hour. Which is why I love Payback and why I am anticipating this one as much as I am.
I can't believe there are people complaining about the game's price! I understand if people who haven't got enough money to afford some apps, but for the people who can, what is the problem? A game with this quality would cost up to 6 times as much on a different platform. Every user wants to get the best out of their iPhone / iPod Touch, so lets help the platform get better. When people start treating the iPhone like a true gaming platform, that's when it will become one.
I wouldnt get your hopes up for a beginning of august release. I would say probably late august early september although it would be amazing if it came out early august
I have to agree with you; a late August / early September is more likely. However I would love the game to be out sooner, but I can wait - if it means the game will get a little extra polish.
Exactly I want this game to be so good but many games that have had a lot of hype recently have turned out to be rubbish in my opinion
Yeh, I know what you mean about the hyped-up games not always delivering what they had promised. Hopefully Gang$tar will be different.
Just for an example The Sims 3 that game was really overhyped and then it turned out to be really short. It was good for a week but then it died out. For Gang$tars I want it to make me come back time after time especially if its going to be £6/$10.
Exactly, and for a sandbox game like this, the one thing thats going to make it a hit or miss is the humor and replay value that people usually buy sandbox games like GTA or Saints Row for.
Absolutely, and I think that the Gameloft Live online play feature will allow a lot more replayability to be incorporated into Gang$tar.
Yeah I hope the online play isn't just achievements chat and trophies like in the recent uno update I was dissapointed at. I hope they could get gangstars online playing with other people, of course it will be limited and nearly impossible to do but this would make this game a whole lot better and this is Gameloft so you never know they may be able to do it
