DAMN mission 14 is INTENSE! Can't believe I've already died 3 times... But it's GREAT to see that new stuff is still being added this late into the game. It's crazy how much there really is. =oD
=oP No problems believing there's loads more later on. Seems around every corner I just become more and more impressed.
I thought the same. Not only there is ton of varied content, they managed to surprise me with new elements in later missions (I'm at mission 19 now) when just the story had sufficed. Impressive.
I like the controls, it feels like the developers spend some time on making them right. So far the graphics, sound and game play been great.
Its looking good but dangerous... Darkness of this game is very effective.. Designing of the game is bit different very creative thought...
Yeah, I saw that too... So freakin excited! Now I need to figure out wether or not I should finish the game on my iPod, or wait, re-replay it on my iPad, then complete it there... After thatim going to have to re-re-replay it to try and get all of the time, navigation, and platinum medals and achievements... But on the bigger screen... With the special lighting effects not slowing it down and lagging like on my 4th gen touch... I'm so tempted to wait... But this story... I want to keep playing... Gaaaaah!
So glad to see some shared respect for companies that don't drop the prices right after release... Even more so for companies that only have sales on special days (eg; Halloween for horror type games, days that marathons are held for runner games... ) =oP ... ... Major NASA launches for space based games.
Well, I was especially grumpy when this first came out due to the Luxor: Evolved debacle, so just felt like putting my foot down. Very interesting game so far. Too early to form solid impressions, (played through the four tutorials and the first three missions) but it's definitely holding my attention and I look forward to see where it goes. Hopefully the gameplay will develop and grow. The atmosphere is certainly hard to fault. In a remote way (for now) the experience overall brings to mind I Dig It and Space Miner; more in the production feel than necessarily actual gameplay. I won't be disappointed if it lives up to either of those titles in the end.
WOOT! Gene Effect is in the New & Noteworthy section in the US iTunes store! Congrats to the DEVs. Hopefully it helps get this one some more much deserved attention. =oD **BTW, only 2 reviews and 6 ratings in the US store...??? c'mon... I know most of you don't pay attention to the iTunes reviews because they're generally all junk, but with a game like this, only having 2 reviews?? GAAAAAAAAAH!
