A few months ago I asked around to see if there are any good GPS for iPhone, but the answer was there aren't any, since iPhone was only capable of displaying coordinates, and not where you are on a map like a navigational GPS. I was surfing around again and saw this app, the Sygic Mobile Map, which looks amazing and confirms the fact that the iPhone can be used as a mini-navigational GPS. Unfortunately Sygic only covers a tiny portion of Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore), Europe, and Australia, which I have no use for. Does anyone know if there are other apps like this around, that covers Canada and China (or in general, North America and Southeast Asia)? When I search for "GPS" most if not all results are coordinate-based GPS used for hiking and such, and not navigational GPS for walking/driving.
