Luckily, technically they cannot "permanently ban" anyone for any reason, considering there was no "agreement" on login. TibiaMe (if I recall) had an agreement on startup, and you had to agree not to hack, no racist sh**, among other things. Graal, nothing . And people pay for Graal, therefore they cannot permanently ban anyone who paid some amount of money, since there was no "agreement" against glitching etc.
iTunes agreement? I am not trying to sound like an a-hole but there aren't any at the bottom of the appstore page... so honestly im not sure what ur referring to. But yes, I would assume you would need to add more in.
Slim, it's called Graalonline.com rules. It's in the AppStore terms of service too. It's also common sense. And I'm sure many masses regarding this were sent out.
This app would need an agreement statement. Bans are alright, remember Healy, I'm talking about permanent bans. When people spend money on a game it would need to have these types of rules in place. Yah, I know all the admins (current ones) hate me and will try to ban me for as long as they can but seriously, I was just off map and JUST got a 3 day ban. I don't care, but it's when they ban (Yourhomie for example) permanently. Not cool. plus he didnt do anything Dx. 3-14 day bans are fine but longer than that and it's just not right. (Plus glitching is NOT hacking, hacking is for nubs. Glitching is partially the game's fault).
slim, i see what your saying but graal hasnt done this to anyone to the best of my knowledge. plus, fixing these glitches would mean major scripting changes in the whole game, and im sure twinny or sklyd would not be terribly eager to take this on. 3 day bans are justified for going off map now since admins have gotten more strict with glitching they do it to everyone. and there is an allowance for a permanent ban if someone abuses the game. cyber bullying is illigal so therefore if its seen in game multiple times then a permanent ban is justified. hacking the game server is probably also illigal so perminate ban is probably justified there too, glitching, eh probably not but a long ban for taking advantage of the game could be in place plus im sure big glitchers like you just love being stalked by admins just waiting for you to make your move. knowing you, youve probably seen every inch of the off map area already so why the hell are you still glitching anyway? the last time i glitched was when the area of nexus just opened up and the warps were gone so i went out. ive seen 90% of the map so im done especially seeing that the risk of going out there isnt worth it. plus there are warps everywhere you wont get very far. imo if you glitch into an area that is unopened that youve already seen is just stupid. i used to glitch just to get away from the stress id go out to lands end but now its covered in warps and such. if i wanted to farm id occasionaly go off map this is all a while ago, when they were 1 hour jail punishments.those are justified reasons since as im sure you all know classic crams a ton of players into a sorta small map. also players dont seem to spread out into north graal and belle isle. there are some deserted places which i often go to to just relax. but now im rambling. pretty much stop glitching its not worth it.
graaloween was just all to disappointing, every single freaking update, is always a let down now it used to be that they'd update all sorts of stuff, like when they created the guild and added on and on to it with the allies and such 99% of time now it's a hat that is overpriced, it started out with those damn hoola hoops, they made a bunch of recolors and every was so excited. then graal started only making crap like that. There was no more fun development plus the only free like thing was the rat. Oh, and damn, did that rat look hard to draw -.- there was probably 5 seconds put into making it. lol, i just read something that made me laugh. in the One Piece Manga series, "The Sniper King's" mask is in graal but they changed the name. I think it was buyable in the Nexus. It only cost 1 gralat,so it's the only other "kinda free" thing they also have luffys straw hat. . . some gfx likes one piece i guess. . . hmmm
yah classic fails but we all still love it lol. i hope you all know that the only reason we still play is because of our friends. if everyone in graal went away we couldnt do anything unlike every other server. but the cat was also free lol and thats not all that bad. plus, there was a crappy pink moose one at the rev for 1 gralat, and youve got the green "pimp hat" as i call it since its my favorite hat, all 4 of the bunny ears, and the american bandana were all free. i think its time for graal to just stop adding stuff to stores for a while and make some quests, new money making opportunities, events, new towns and stuff people actually WANT. fine include a new hat shop and furn store but add some other stuff too. more guild towers, spar arenas, just regular hang out houses for people to walk around and explore, some limited areas ex: must have 10000 kills to enter here, or must have started in december or January to come in here. then add some new stuff like the things i listed above (quests, money making things, etc.) a town consisting of these things would thrive, and as long as its easy enough to access would see enough activity.
I still think its an awesome game, with awesome staff, it's just that they need to look at more things before they go ban hammer. WHAT I WOULD LOVE. No Updates For One Month. At The End Of That Month... New HAT, New Body, New Head (Preferably A Combo?) New Morph New House New Guild House And I Know That THAT IS POSSIBLE :/
Godzilla, I understand what you are saying, but a new "isle" called "Azrael's vacation Isle" just got put up outside of map. Yah, it's just above lands end and there really isnt anything to do. Then again, there isn't anything to do on Graal, that's why I glitch in the first place. Yes I have seen all of the CURRENT MAP but it is almost always being updated in small increments. Apple Terms of Agreement don't say anything about Graal, so yes Graal needs its own terms to agree to. I got a 3 day ban for being off map, I don't care. NO I DONT HACK. I did at one time, but hacking is honestly really unfair to other players (castles/towers, farms etc). GLITCHING is not. Glitching is just finding different errors and using them, such as poorly conceived plans on a fence, i.e. bad placement. Yes, I'll glitch past it. Yes, I would like to get out of the Lag City of all of Graal (except unopened areas). Graal is a place that I go to to hang out with friends in unopened areas. BIG DEAL I give the GP something to do. Most people don't know how to get off map anymore since there are warps, which is GOOD! Then it can just be me and my 7 guy crew hanging out. We don't disrupt anything. We just HATE the lag on the server. That's basically it. It's just nice to get away from all the pervs and hangout in a LAG - Free environment. Hate if you want, jail me if you want, ban me for a few days, but no PERMA ban. I dont hack, plus im not even jailbroken! lol. So yah, thats my rant.
Not to mention, TONS of Admins abuse their power. Yah, I will get a lot of negative comments about this, but honestly. My friends get ABUSED like **** on there. Naack is the main one doing cr*p but still, they all do it a little.
Ya, graal has been going downhill since march-ish. They got super high prices and ran out of ideas. Thats about all there is to say there. :/
