Hi there, Over at Pocket Gamer I am running an iPhone Game Developers World Championship (alongside the 'other' World Cup for obvious legal reasons) to try and ignite interest in lesser known games and genres. I'm also trying to promote iPhone game developers from regions that aren't normally on the PG radar. very nice, i like the idea. i hope germany is putting "galaxy - heart of gold" and "carcassonne" on their roster... unluckily i do think that the usa, japan or france will take the title.
Game Developers World Cup Thanks for the vote of confidence, Carnivore. Germany is actually being represented at this year's Developers World Championship by Rally Master Pro 3D, Galaxy on Fire 3D, and The Settlers. Italy are represented in the iPhone Game Developers World Championship by iScopa, Vempire, and Fallen - Episode 1. iScopa's match (v Scotland) is in progress at the moment, so get on over to Pocket Gamer and make your vote count, please. Italy wasn't included in the poll, for they aren't one of the 9 bookies' favourites for the title this year. ;-)
My sincerest apologies, Frand / Jani. With the excellent Zen Bound, immensely popular Angry Birds, and secret weapon DrawRace in the squad, the poll really should be adjusted to include Finland as one of the leading contenders. If only I knew how to amend the poll... :-(
