[taken from wikipedia]In medical terminology, an addiction is a state in which the body relies on a substance for normal functioning and develops physical dependence, as in [insert name of iDevice] addiction. When the [insert name of iDevice] or substance on which someone is dependent is suddenly removed, it will cause withdrawal, a characteristic set of signs and symptoms.

I don't know, but i think i fit in there pretty well :D

Thought at first possibly an addiction. But think now it was the newness (that a word?) of it all. The iTunes emerging and the constant flow of new games almost daily. But now that I've grown accustomed to this after 6+ months, I've reached an even keel about it all. Sure I get excited about new games but not like it was in the beginning (being a little naive in my purchases for one thing and not knowing the good game devs). I feel a little more seasoned and savvy in my purchasing habits. I don't check for the latest games first thing in the morning (or as much), etc. An addiction consumes, so think I've matured (a little) through that stage.............hopefully!

Funny thing is.........I went through the same scenario downloading stuff to my Palm Treo a few years back. And that addiction lasted well over a year. But that was when I was a real newbie to phone technology. You'd think I'd have learned........
