My itunes is painfully slow to open, and far, far worse when I try to navigate to updates. I have maybe 400 songs and 75 apps. Syncing and such works fine.

Is this a problem for everyone, or might something be wrong with my set-up?

My computer is painfully slow in many respects...I know I have to many useless things hitting the memory, but dont really want to try and figure out what I can get rid of how. Maybe thats it?

Yeah I have that problem. It's slow as crap. I don't even use it unless I have to. All my apps are bought over wifi, and only rarely do I sync. The downside,.....syncing takes forever.

I have a powerful computer and itunes is the slowest and buggiest POS program in my computer.

You could defrag and run cccleaner, but it is not going to help a lot with itunes.

Yeah I never knew why the media was plugging the store as so great. There is a lot on there...and you can sort of find it, thats enough to make it great in a sense, but the technology itself is for shit. Search options are very weak, the "updates" never seem to do anything except suck up the time it takes to install, and now it seems that its slowww for everyone.

Painfully slow!!! I just had an incident where I was trying to get on and off quickly. IMPOSSIBLE. I freaking about smashed the mouse through the screen. Dare to click more than once, and you might as well take a nap. It's gonna freeze. So I tried to close the program.....nope. I literally had to yank the cord from the socket, which I might add I did with a certain amount of joy!
