Ahh - I misread (thought you were talking about the same version). Maybe the we're getting back to "normal" approval times.

EDIT: Spoke too soon: 1 week "Waiting for Review" + 3 hours "In Review". That's around the same wait time as I saw in December, but way quicker review time :)

Sick of Santa 1.0.2 took 2 days... was approved on the 8th of this month. I'm very happy with the turnover time. :)

Hmmm, interesting to hear. Review has been happening much more quickly recently. I submitted Angel Thy Guardian late Sunday night and heard back from Apple that the app was in review Monday afternoon.

    I've noticed similar...

Apple seem to be doing an exceptionally good job in minimizing the time the approvals process is taking :)!

I submitted a new app last Friday @ 4pm, it went from Waiting for Review to In Review @ 445pm that same day. It just turned Ready for Sale this morning @ 9am.

  13. That's some pretty good reviewing speed right there!

I wonder if it is just that apps get reviewed faster than games.

Ironically our game Project 72 that took us 72 hours to develop, took more than 336 hours for Apple to approve. It just got approved today :(

    :D

Maybe they had a huge backlog from 2009/2010 holidays, so they approved without looking...

I uploaded my game on January 25 2010, two days ago. It has been in review since 7:30 (UK time). Does Apple play the games to their limits? Or is it a code check of some kind? My game is fairly small. Would that speed up the review process? Im just interested in what factors effect it. Thanks.
