Crikey that was very quick after it got into the In Review stage. Mine has been sitting at it for over 24 hours now.

Maybe its because they can't get past one of the levels. :) Haha. What do you think they do if they honestly can't? I assume they play them to a certain degree or is it purely a code analysis?

SteamPunk Hockey update v1.2.0 (with sound!) was entered late in the hour on Jan 21 2010, and just went live (Jan 28).

Counting business days, that would be five business days, + whatever prep the Apple team was doing for iPad. Quite fast turnaround!

They seems to be treating new app and app update differently.

I got 2 new app i submitted, and been "in review" within 2 days.
but the app update i submitted, still in "Waiting For Review" for 4 days now.

Yes, I'm noticing this too. My most recently submitted update has been "Waiting for Review" for over 7 days, while a brand new app was reviewed and approved within two days.

It's dissapointing, as the update in my case was for the full version and meant to be paired with the new (lite) app.

I wonder if Apple is prioritizing new apps over updates because they don't directly make any money from updates.

January 29th submitted... Cat Trap took 4 days to get approved, including weekend. I was shocked at the quick time.

So the actual approval was lightning fast (5.5 hours!) *BUT* what is up with it sitting in the "waiting for review" queue for 3 days!

Our latest was over a week, was a new submission rather than an update though. Gone back to the old times :(.

Ours tend to take 3 days at best but usually a week.

  19. Certainly slowed down more recently. Dead Runner has been waiting for review for over a week now.

Hopefully a summer vacation problem and things will speed up again soon!
