    Hi,

I am so happy to introduce the first Blender 3d video tutorial for iPhone/iPod in the AppStore !!

Blender, as many of you know, is a 3D graphics application released as free software. It can be used for modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, rigging, water simulations, skinning, animating, rendering, particle and other simulations, non-linear editing, compositing, and creating interactive 3D applications, including games.

Blender has a depth and breadth of features comparable to commercial, proprietary, high-end and mid-range 3D software.

If you are working on a game as a graphic designer or game designer this application will help you and it includes the following topics and features:

    ✓ 65 Learning Videos optimized for iPhone/iPod.
    ✓ 320+ minutes video learning.
✓ Option to tag videos as favorites so you can follow your tutorial progress.

    ✦ Vertices, Edges and Faces.
    ✦ Selecting Vertices/Edges/Faces.
    ✦ Extruding.
    ✦ Extrude Constraints.
    ✦ Organic Extrusion.
    ✦ Global and Local Orientation.
    ✦ Pivot Points.
    ✦ Blender Camera.
    ✦ Camera Constraints.
    ✦ Basic Keyframe Animation.
    ✦ IPO (Interpolation) Curve Window.
    ✦ Smoothing.

✦ and 53 more educational topics...

I've gone through the first few tutorials and I need to say that I am really liking this app. The presentation and knowledge is very good and at a pace that I can work with .... there are also work files that you can download (sent by email very quickly). I was thinking of getting the lynda.com tutorials but this is way less costly and possibly in par with lynda.com.

Are the videos offline viewable, or will I have to be online? I have a touch instead of a phone. I would be using this during slow periods at work, so can only watch if I can do so without a network connection. If I can watch these without a network connecting, I'll buy this immediately. Thanks.

    Sorry about the confusion.

When i said Blender 3D is free, i was talking about the modeling software which you run in your Mac or windows pc.

With the video tutorial you get pdf manuals and samples files and more than 65 video tutorials to learn the basics of Blender. I am sure you will not regret to buy it.

    Thanks,
