Liked the previous Redemption Cemetery Curse of the Raven. I am getting a bit tired of these "dark" storylines. Here are some of the upcoming BFG games (already in Canadian app store).

    Twisted Lands: Origin (prequel)

Surface: Mystery of Another World CE

Haunted Manor: Queen of Death CE

I might try Surface demo. Looks intriguing.

So last night I played through as far as I could on the free version of Redemption Cemetery 2. I never played the first one, but I really like the second one. Interesting storyline, cool cut scenes, nice balance of object puzzles, hidden object screens and mini-games, and nothing overly taxing so far. I'll certainly be investing in this one as soon as I get a boost to my iTunes account. I might even go back and try the first one.

They seem to show up a couple of weeks later. Im surprised they didn't release the CE version like they did with the first two.

I'm with you. I have several old BFG apps in my backlog, but I haven't bought a new one of their HdO games in a bit because they are all the horror/dark supernatural stories. I still like their puzzle games though. G5e seems to be going the same way.

All that being said, I think I'll still try their Monte Cristo game released this morning.

Did you try Christmas Stories Nutcracker? Such a nice change from the usual dark storylines.

I ended up buying Surface after all :) because I really wanted a new game to play. I wish BFG would release the next Dana Knightstone for iPad. The storylines are more like cold case files with a mystery to solve.

I have given up on G5E.

I haven't tried it. I downloaded it for my daughter for the holidays, but she got sick and we never loaded it. I'll grab it again and try it, thank you for letting me know.

I understand that. Of course it doesn't help that I drink iced coffee

At some point yesterday the Speed Escape - Dungeon games (both version) went to free. Don't know if they still are or not. A cute looking little adventure game called Quiet, Please! also went free yesterday, and that looks to still be free right now.
