You should check out Earth2037. It's a strategic war game but very unique. No adds, no pay to play/win, and has consequences if enough food isn't produce. If you don't maintain Thunder Rock, aka Food, your troops will die until they can be supported by what your food is producing. Also, the siege weapons are deadly. Your 1 main city can branch out to sub cities. Sub cities can be destroyed by siege weapons, if they are high enough in levels, to create Parking lots. Main cities can't be wiped off the map.
