I was going off EU release for ME3 which is 9th. After realising US date is 6th...yes 7th release for infiltrator seems more likely. Fingers Crossed

I'm thinking we might see this game at Apples iPad 3 event on the 7th being shown off, then it's gonna be released in th app store

Wouldn't it already be out by then if it was to release on 7th? I suppose they could wait for a world wide release. Was dead space worldwide or 12am release in each region

You do know that IB2 was showcased on October on Apple's event and it came out on December? It doesn't need to be released to be showcased there.

I'm just being optimistic hoping it will release same week as ME3, and if it does then logically it would release on thursday morning and probably be out by the time apple has its conference.

But honestly who knows, could be a world wide release, could be a few weeks time, could be arriving on 6th with the game. All we know is "in march"

Can't wait to grab this along with ME3 next week. This alone makes for a great iOS release week.

I haven't been following this thread, unfortunately, and have never played any of the Mass Effects - something I plan to fix, in order, very soon.

My question is, how will this fit into the "main" storyline/s? Will playing this before any of the other games somehow spoil the story? Has enough information been released to determine that?

The main character in Infiltrator is different from the main character in the console games and it's a separate story that runs parallel to Mass Effect 3, so I doubt this game will contain many big spoilers from the main series. That said, you'll probably enjoy Infiltrator more if you've played the other Mass Effect games first, but it'll probably be fun either way.

Well, it'll spoil the fact that the Illusive Man is a total jerk. But then again, that was obvious. After all, he did
kidnap Paul Grayson, and forcefully introduce Reaper tech into his body, giving them full control. When he resisted, they injected Red Sand into him, which he was an addict of in the past. He lost control, and the Reapers took over his body.
Meanwhile, the Illusive Man's head is so chock-full of obsession over ruining Grayson, that he doesn't even realize he endangered his own life, and many key Ceberus members.

    What. An. Ass.

Besides that, the Geth are evil, there are gangs of Turians, Asari (monogendered species), Salarians (only male, females are seen as very wise and politically powerful), and Batarians, among other aliens. I'm listing them because, while they're not all evil, they are what you'll be shooting at for a few hours when you play this game. :D
