True. I really like the unity engine a lot more than Unreal.

I love you. Holy crap this game looks awesome! It's even got ME3's heavy melee attacks!

I kinda doubt this game will have multiplayer, but it would be awesome if they made a separate Mass Effect iOS game that was a port of ME3's multiplayer mode, kind of like Activision did with CoD Zombies.

It's a tutorial level. It's supposed to be easy. I'm sure it won't be as easy to use later on.

Just because shooting is easy doesn't mean enemies are easy to kill. I'm playing Epoch on hard difficulty right now, and those enemies are pretty freakin tough even though you just tap on them to shoot them.

But if the only thing that makes a game challenging is that the enemys have alot of health then that sounds like a pretty boaring game. I guess AIMING is just too much for iOS gamers these days...

It's not just that the enemies have a lot of health, it's that there are multiple enemies shooting different weapons at you and you have to roll between cover and decide when to pop up and shoot. Trust me, Epoch is a lot more fun and challenging than it sounds on paper. Since Mass Effect has biotic powers, melee attacks, and the ability to switch weapons, I'm sure it will be even more awesome.

meele attacks and the ability to switch weapons really aren't a selling point for a game, I mean, those are verry basic things that almost every shooter should have, and without ragdoll physics and flashy graphical effects the biotic powers won't be that great either.

I'm not saying those are selling points, just that they add more depth than some other iOS cover-based shooters have. All I'm saying is that the game will probably be more fun to play than it looks form watching a video of the first level. Stay skeptical if you want, but I'm gonna buy this day one and have a blast with it.

The actual combat mechanics in ME aren't that complex either. The setting, atmosphere and story are what make it unique. From the video, this looks like it has the style and "feel" of an ME game. And I believe that there is some kind of bullet time mechanic and points added for style too. It's a decent ME game that looks like to does the source proud and fits in my pocket.

    Count me the hell in!

I'm still going to buy it but it just looks...I dunno...I'm not sure what I think of it based on the videos

Well keep in mind that all we've seen is 4 minutes of the opening levels. We haven't seen any of the story cutscenes, weapon/power upgrade systems, or higher level enemies. Plus, the person playing in the video didn't seem very good at it. I would have been using those biotics a whole lot more and tossing enemies all over the place!

With a game that lets you replay checkpoints (yeah, that should make things more realistic! atleast when you're set back to a checkpoint when you die there's a reason for doing so) and seems to give you a score after each tiny battle I kind of doubt there'll be alot of story to speak of.

From what I can see the game consists of fairly short levels with where you just walk from one battle to the next and that's it. (judging by the video).

Also, is it just me or does that enviroment look really empty and boaring?

It is a frozen desert though.

It does seem like the player is making it seem more clumsy than it has to be. I wish you could aim manually with the camera rather than tapping on enemies, and that the running was faster. Also I didn't see any main powers used so I can't confirm what class he is (most likely an Infiltrator wit the cloak from the game title, but I was hoping for all 6 classes to be present).
