You mean he got tired of killing furries an hour after downloading the app so he got axed, got fat while everyone else moved on?

Not that it really matters, but are high scores going to reset after the update?

    Well said!!!

    @Fudgeboy : Timo=god
His art is just rockin. I sincerely hope this represents that the levels are larger! I feel a bit squashed.
I AM a bit concerned about the cupcake/fat John... but not as much as Lizzy Lizard making an appearance. And mind you, I HATE, I mean H.A.T.E. Enviro Bear, but I can deal since it's a bear in the winter woods. I'll play it just ignoring it's, ahem, "him". Ending tangent: I hope there is the ability to "switch off" crossover characters like in The Creeps.

It's annoying when I shoot a furry too close to the edge of the level so if a clover drops, it cannot be taken. I was a millimeter away from it :(

Is that snow picture all one level?? If it is thats huge! Timos posts always make me excited about the potential of minigore.

Oh yeah and the dev of a4e isnt even on TA giving feedback like every other dev... Just a point.

Don't add fuel to the a4e vs. minigore fire please -_-. But yes, I do like active forum devs and Timo is being very good about that.

It does, if it gets more updates with more contents than just the one or two levels (one original, I don't know how many new maps the new one has). It had so much hype before it came out that after I played it the first time I got disappointed.

The game is fun. Granted, the artwork was endearing; it's 3D; and...that's about it. It stands out in the Geometry War genre (it's like it, except a man, on land, shooting animals; I don't know what you call that), but it's not that great. I'm not saying it bad either (I played lots of times too, but only the initial week), it just sort of left too much room for improvement.

I agree that A4E and this are separate entities, and I only bring this up because I saw some people bring it up. Someone care to update me on what this A4E vs Minigore drama is all about? I find it all very amusing to just watch.

Just a sidenote, I do think agree with a certain someone that Minigore's hype died a well-deserved death (the game doesn't deserve to die). The hype compared to the end product is just....beyond bad. The game is fun and pretty good - amazing for its price too. The hype should have been clubbed and stoned, hanged and then crucified, burned and then carcass mutilated. Again, game's great.

I even thought we weren't going to get any updates, and the author proved me wrong.

ps. For example, the hype for Real Racing, a game I acknowledge is a completely different genre, was completely deserving.

Wow, apparently I've now become "he who shall not be named" on this thread. Look, I obviously have some fun with this, but it really only upsets the blind, slavering fanboys who can't understand humor, sarcasm, and criticism. I appreciate what Minigore does well, and would be as happy as anyone else if it fulfills some of the promises given and shown by nice screenshots; heck I'd even pay for them as DLC, but as of now it is what it is: a VERY basic, one map, twin stick shooter with nice art direction. No more, no less. I'll agree that much of the backlash the game has been receiving lately is due to the ridiculous amount of hype generated pre-release, but I still believe that this hype was fed by promises and screenshots. At the current state, it really will be months before we have anything resembling a full-featured shooter...and again, the price has nothing to do with it; as I've said before, I would have rather paid 10 dollars for a complete version of the game. As for the A4E rivalry, that was just an example of a remarkable twin-stick $.99 shooter that was incredibly complete and content rich coming out during the nearly month long wait for the first (content lite) update of Minigore. The fact that A4E came out of nowhere with none of the hype didn't help Minigore either. I'm sorry, but there's a difference between promises given and getting it right the first time, and if I need to be looked at as a villain on this thread for pointing that out (sarcastically, admittedly) than so be it.

i love the idea of the tress being broken and then regrowing just like in fat princess!
maybe that can also be implemented into hardgore somehow, like you chop down the tree, grab the log and give it to a 'tower' to upgrade it

also the snow map looks HUGE and i love the idea of the water slowing you and the enemies down, and i also hope it extinguishes the flames of the fire furrys!

    McDonalds! French Fries anyone?
At that place... with those... people...
I like the idea of having john gore take down a tree, and use the log as a "battering ram" against the furries :p
