Well it was the 90s Seriously though - have you ever seen a couple of stoners on psychedelics? Depp and Del Toro got the physicality exactly right. The uncontrollable limb stretching, movement of the hands - spot on. I think on the outside it is an extremely funny condition to behold - and while it can be funny in the same light on the inside as well, internally there is always room for the darker elements (something better captured in word as opposed to film). --------------- I have never actually seen A Clockwork Orange - although it is on my to-do list.
Am trying to find out 2 movies 1st one.... She writes a letter, puts it in a mailbox (location is river side), gets a reply from someone but from another year, another person also lives there but in another year 2nd one... which has sets like the Lord of the Rings, It has a talking book & out of the protagonist's shoulder pops out an eye, then it changes to a face, after some time, a whole clone comes out who claims to be his twin, but is evil. I had seen a lil of this like 10 years ago & I also think It stars Jim Carrey Any one help me with my blabbering?
Being a NZer i appreciate homegrown or atleast directed by a kiwi films more, so i love anything Peter Jackson does and Casino Royal was AWESOME!! As well as Quantum of solace.
I just saw two movie yesterday night, It was inception and salt. I like both movie but If we talk story concept wise So I would say Inception has a very nice movie concept and Leonardo has to done also very nice acting in this movie.
well i just got done watching "night of the living dead" http://appshopper.com/entertainment/night-of-the-living-dead-feature-film appshopper shows it costing 2.00 but its free on the appstore. shrugs, good classic flick chris.
... it has an 83% so far...?! Btw, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, wtf? I feel liked I watched an anime, within a videogame, within a rom-com.
The Other Guys was surprisingly hilarious. One of those movies that has so many awesome quotes, and yet you can't remember more than 2.
I'm pretty sure that's Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness. The central plot item is the Necronomicon, which is a book with a face on the front of it, don't remembering it talking though. There is a sequence where a twin grows out of his shoulder though. It stars Bruce Campbell, not Jim Carrey though, but I guess you could make that mistake if you only watched a bit of it 10 years ago. Even if it's not the one you're thinking of you should still watch it, it's awesome.
yeah I saw that as well like last week and I thought it was great. I went in with low expectations and didn't really want to see it at all (wanted to see the expendables) but it was really good. I don't remember any quotes though... So it's definitely not on Anchorman level. I think you found the right movie. Also young Bruce Campbell looks like Jim carrey, so I can see how he was confused.
Thank you Electric_Shaman, Rocketman919 & MidianGTX I'll get my handz & eyez on ze copy of Army of Darkness SOON, will post once I have seen it!
