Most definitely! There are more anticipated movies this year than last year.. And it all starts with the month of March.
Hell yes. Why can't I find a rating for Sucker Punch yet? Anyone seen The Eagle? I might see it tomorrow, if no one has seen it, I'll let ya know how it is
Best movie of the year. I'm calling it, you heard it here first. The $10.50 for Battle:LA was completely worth it to watch this on the big screen. My mouth literally just dropped.
Ouch... I did like Battle: Los Angeles a lot though, I could see why people wouldnt like it though because it was pretty much all shooting and a little bit of story, not the ideal combo for many movie fans.
I've recently seen Metropolis (1927 version). I saw it in my language arts class. At first I disliked it but now t's one of my favorite movies of all time. I also recently saw Dr. Horrible's sing along blog.
Judging by what I've read I'm imagining it kind of similar to 2012, a feast for the eyes and mind-numbing clichés for the brain. I have to admit I enjoyed 2012 because I knew beforehand the plot wasn't good, the whole thing was incredibly unrealistic and had no depth, and the only thing I should be looking for is tons and tons of insane CGI. With that in mind I got exactly what I was after. Felt a bit bad looking at the satellite images of tsunamis approaching Japan though, good thing they didn't cover that part in detail.
My top movies of 2010 are as follows: 1. Black Swan 2. Inception 3. The Fighter 4. The Social Network 5. How to Train Your Dragon Inception was at the top, but in the final days of December I saw Black Swan and I haven't been that floored by a masterpiece since There Will Be Blood. They share a lot of the same themes with each other, and they both have purely incredible cinematography. In fact, I think Matthew Libatique's cinematography in Black Swan rose above Robert Elswit's masterful work on There Will Be Blood, and that is saying a whole heck of a lot. *applauds* XD That was a great one.
Anybody seen Red River? Watched it in my film class and thought it would suck (usually hate old movies) but I really enjoyed it. A solid 8 out of 10, at least.
Ok you cant make a list like that and not explain How to Train Your Dragon being above Toy Story. I have heard great things about it but its hard to imagine it better than Toy story.
I've grown to hate Toy Story 3 after being forced to watch it 10+ times in a single week while babysitting my little cousins.
That's fairly stupid as children are the one people who can't get the movie. They only see it on the base level.
Moulin Rouge! The classic!!!From this movie, I can see the origin of Canca and many other routines,as well as some classical songs>>>
