There's a guy I talk to on MSN swears he keeps seeing his PC screen in 3D after playing his 3DS. Either that's an illusion or his eyes are genuinely about to cave in.

Yes this seems to be a common side effect but it only happened on the first day for me, just seems like something to get used to again.

Funy you mention that as I too have been seeing the pc screen (especially some forums) in a kind of 3D. I have been playing my 3DS quite a bit, so maybe there is some residual effect on the eyes.

I really had no interest in the 3DS whatsoever before reading this thread but I'm thinking about buying one after all the positive comments I've read here.

Trouble is there really isn't anything I want for it right now, pilot wings looks interesting but not essential, I have streetfigher on my PS3 and also my phone so can't really justify another version and nothing else appeals to me at all.

Maybe I'll just wait till Zelda and mario kart make an appearance.

Speaking about 3d side effects... I've had them too. My computer screen my ipod tv... really wierd. It must be that our eyes are adapting to it

Nice one dude, it's about time too, you were one of the first people on this forum I spoke to about the 3DS back when it was first announced. So how are you finding it?

Oh, and here's my Friend Code if you wish to add it: 0001-3298-7351

Yeah, I think so. When Marker1c added me, he didn't show up on my friends list until I added him back.

I thought it would give me a spotpass notification when someone adds me as a friend. Guess not huh?

Spot pass doesn't work with friends list. Is anonymous mii transfers for the mii plaza. Only works when you pass someone slowly while both ds's are in sleep mode. Some games will allow spotpass matchups while playing.

Yes friend codes have to be added both ways for friends to register.

Yeah, it kind of sucks that you can't send a message. However, it is apparently one of the features that's on it way so fingers crossed. I've added both you and Watabou in return. Also, I wish there was an option to 'age' your Mii, I'm 28yr old but my Mii makes me look about 12 :)

In other news, Alex Ward of Criterion Games has recently Tweeted this tasty nugget:

I don't know about anyone else but I'd be all for a Burnout game on 3DS

Does everyone else's Ds have a little "wiggle room" with the top closed. Mine seems to have a little play, nothing really bad but the top moves a little. Just seeing if I'm the only one.

My 3DS was supposed to arrive today, by UPS, but it didn't. So I gotta wait until Monday :(

Thats streetpass, spotpass is when you pass by a wireless hotspot and get sent free stuff like movie trailers and demos although this isnt really up and running yet as it's early stages so no content will be available yet. The LED will blink orange when a friend comes online which effectively means it will blink when someone registers.
