Just got Tomodachi Life yesterday and it's very entertaining. Because I liked Animal Crossing New Leaf a lot, I love Tomodachi Life too! I think it's probably worth around £30.
Copy and paste of mine about Tomodachi Life: It's quirky, charming, something new happens everyday. The islanders are kinda like your pets in a way, you feed them, clothed them, play with them, and watch their daily events throughout the island. They can date, get married, get divorced, have babies. It's really neat. People like to bring up Animal Crossing as a comparison, but this is quite a bit different. You do more watching, than doing compared to AC. I thought AC was okay, however this is way better. Already clocked in 20 hours.
Miyamoto said it in an interview and it's on the Nintendo News website (type in Nintendo News). And yes, it looks like the Nintendo 3DS still has some great games coming soon!
Alright looks like I'm going to capitalize on Best Buy's buy one get one free deal this weekend for 3DS games, yet I am so torn between Bravely Default or Tomodachi Life On one hand you get an amazing rpg with Bravely Default, and on the other a quirky awesome life sim with Tomodachi . . . I can't get both either because the free title is already taken by my girlfriend as she's been dying to play Yoshi's Island.
Did anyone get Tomodachi Life for half price at Hyper Japan? Unfortunately, I wasn't able to because I already had the game!
I guess I'll come join y'all over here. I bought a 3DS on eBay yesterday in preparation for SSB4. I promised I wouldn't get another dedicated game system when I got rid of my Wii in 2009, but that was before I knew there would be a handheld Smash!
Just bought Pokemon y for my daughter, it's her first Pokemon title and she doesn't know that much about them, so I'm sure I'll be popping in and out of here asking questions. @jerutix What games did you get for your 3ds to hold you over til ss3?
It was bundled with Mario Kart 7, so I'll probably just play that until Oct 3. I had to make a deal with my wife to get it at all, so I'm not going to push my luck!
Good thing about the eshop is you can keep it a secret lol welcome to the 3DS club!! Enjoy MK7! If you are looking for any friends we could exchange friend codes.
It came in, and I love it! I forgot how much fun a dedicated gaming system with tactile controls is. Send me a PM with your friend code if you want to play some Mario Kart 7.
Awesome! Mario Kart 7 is amazing and the 3DS is going to become even better with SSB4 and other games coming out for it soon!
Anyone getting this. It does look beautiful but is expensive considering there are going to be loads of great Nintendo games coming out soon!
It looks like an amazing game but considering there are going to be lots of new Nintendo games coming out soon, I may have to miss this one out until next year.
I really like it. I mean, it's Mario Kart, so nothing really new. But the courses are pretty solid. I like the selection of classic courses (SNES-Wii) much better on this version than on the Wii version. Still unlocking characters, and I haven't really gotten into online multiplayer yet. But that's because my wife wanted a Mario game. So, we also got New Super Mario Bros 2. Really been enjoying that one. Nintendo just makes solid games. Having the 3DS has also killed my passion for "hardcore" iOS gaming. I'd been looking constantly for the closest things to Nintendo games for my iPhone, and now I can just abandon that search and get the Nintendo versions. Looking forward to the end of the month when I will probably be adding A Link Between Worlds to the collection.
Awesome! You'll love A Link Between Worlds, I couldn't put it down until completion. My fiancee and I are planning to pick up 2 copies of Fantasy Life in October, then Smash Bros when it releases. I'm currently playing through Phoenix Wright. I wanted to go back and start the series from the beginning before moving on to Dual Destinies. She's addicted to Yoshi's New Island.
